Product Description Fully Loaded Quality And Style Shatter-Proof UV400 Anti-Reflective Photochromic Lenses wrapped in Light and Durable Matte Black TR90 Frames so that you can depend on their Timeless Style in any conditions, Night and Day. Main Street Originals Universal Size and Style With 54mm wide lens, the Main Street Originals were designed to fit big dudes , but they are still somehow very prone to getting stolen by our smaller counterparts. Clear Mode The Main Street Originals require direct UV exposure to tint. They will remain clear indoors, in your vehicle, in the evening, behind helmet visors, or any other UV filtering glass. Dark Mode In perfect conditions the Main Street Originals can reach a maximum of 70% visible light filtration. Slightly lighter than regular sunglasses at around 80%. These results will vary from day to day based on any number of conditions. For Them There's only one thing that really matters, and it isn't glasses or bikes. This is a small family brand on a mission of relentless optimism, with a rebellious attitude. Photochromic 101 Please Read and Understand Photochromic lenses are practically magic, but they're not perfect. Even though we spare no expense on our photochromic pigment, the depth of tint can and will vary from day to day based on atmospheric conditions such as temperature, UV index, and any number of other factors. Photochromic Lenses Require Direct UV Exposure to Tint. Also, photochromic lenses will not tint behind other UV filters. This means that they WILL NOT TINT INSIDE OF A VEHICLE WILL NOT TINT BEHIND A HELMET VISOR WILL NOT TINT INDOORS Industry First Wire-Lock Hold Please Originally dreamed up from dangling an earbud while spending too much time on hold because of "higher call volume", whether it's music, a podcast, phone calls, or earplugs, t he Industry First Wire-Lock comes in clutch to keep your setup right where you need it. Yea, yea, we know, wires are old school. But so are we. And it sucks looking for that earbud that fell out. The Moonshot behind this brand is about bringing people back together, to change how we view and address our problems. Until then, all Danger Shades (including the FUN RAZOR models), come with a complimentary pair of Red, White, and Blue earplugs , to help you tune out some of the noise, because despite what some may want you to believe, we're all on the same ride. We got this. Riders All Across America Love The First True Classic Style Photochromic Motorcycle Glasses Product Evolution The Main Street Originals have come a long way since their first run, and we're always working to improve them based on customer feedback. When a quality control problem came up in 2019 (check out the reviews from that period), I torched the whole operation and started from scratch with proprietary molds, and the best materials we could find. And when they weren't getting dark enough, we sourced highest grade photochromic pigment available so that they match the top-of-the-line RX brand in side by side comparisons. Just like a hard-tail, the Main Street Originals aren't for everyone. But if this if you're looking for one pair of Classic Style shades that you can depend on night and day, the Main Street Originals blazed the trail and are still leading the pack. Danger Shades by EJ Moonshot Since 2017 These small batch shades are built with the highest quality materials to exceed Industry impact standards, for regular, working Americans, doing the things we shouldn't be, but are anyways. Motorcycles are nuts. If you're going to ride, obey the local laws and all that stuff. But glasses and motorcycles were never the point. Check out the Moonshot idea that drives this brand. Value Beyond Products Brand Mission: The Civil Network It takes a certain kind of human to ride a motorcycle. We're authentic. We're rebels. We ride to feel alive. We ride for the freedom. I've been scratching my initials, the EJ logo, into my stuff since I was a kid. And I've been hung up on one idea since then too. That's the Moonshot. It's called the Civil Network, and it's all about how we utilize our technology to view and address our problems. Making it a reality has always been this brands mission. We've grown into a reputable business by providing quality and value to riders like you, making it right when we come up short, and developing cutting edge innovations before the corporate giants. We're ripping in to 2025 hellbent on helping regular Americans come together, to change the way we view and address our problems. There's a short film about it called the Turtle Game . You've never seen anything like it. A recent customer, Chip B from Winchester, VA. was quoted as saying "Every American should watch the Turtle Game." And on Dec 7 2022, Indie Shorts Mag called it "A way to address social and political failure ....the humor alone will do the trick. " That's the deal. When you spend your hard earned money on Danger Shades, this is where it's going. So Grab a pair, tell your crew, and come along for the ride, because we're going to have a blast along the way. Review: Great Riding Shades - I love these shades. I'm ordering a second one because my dog chewed on my first pair and scratched the lenses. These shades do exactly what they advertise and are solid riding glasses. I like the style, they fit nice (even with a helmet on) and don't feel like cheap gas station glasses. They do fog if I'm wearing a neck gaiter around my face, but that's a simple fix. My only complaint is that the price is now higher than when I originally purchased them. Would absolutely recommend. Review: All the things you need to know about these glasses. - I've now purchased three pairs of these since last summer, one for a gift and two sets for myself. The first pair that came in was slightly scratched, I contacted the seller and was sent another pair immediately with no issue. Having a company that stands behind their product is a big deal to me. I started riding young and have owned countless pairs of motorcycle glasses over the last 15 years, some from cheap multi packs online, some expensive photochromic pairs ($100+) straight from dealer stores, thinking that spending more would make a big difference. These glasses block out the wind just as well as the expensive glasses (or better) I've had and far better than the cheap ones, most definitely. Things I love about these glasses - They work great to block out the wind even at highway speeds of 80+ mph. They fit my head great and they're very comfortable, whether I'm wearing a helmet or not. When I do occasionally have them on inside a helmet, they have still been durable and haven't bent or broken. For me, they work to keep wind out at multiple angles of wear, meaning for both sport bikes and cruisers. When I have them on without a helmet, I can turn my head to check my blind spot and they don't fly off. I like the style and get compliments on how nice they look, sometimes people even notice while they're transitioning. I have had ZERO issues in terms of tint transition and they tint exactly how I need them to at all times. I haven't had any issues with them fogging up at all like some of the other brands that have the foam/rubber lining while I'm sweating on a hot day. They come with a solid, fairly heavy duty box to keep them in while not in use. I don't have them out of the box unless they're on my face. Issues I've seen from other reviews and most likely how to solve them - 1. People that say they don't block the wind. - It is possible that these may just not fit your face, different glasses will work for different head shapes/sizes. Secondly, you're moving at high speed in open air, there are NO glasses that exist that will block out all wind 100% of the time. This should be common sense. Other factors, were you riding with a cross wind and used them once for 5 minutes before assuming they didn't work? Give them another try on a different day of riding and maybe they'll work great. 2. People saying they don't transition. - Did you give them more than 3 nanoseconds to change? They're photochromic, not magic. Give it some time. Also, I can't believe I have to say this, but don't stare directly at the sun in anticipation of watching them change... OR, do that so you can't ride a bike anymore and we're all safer on the road. Finally, if they really don't change or there's a manufacturing issue (most unlikely scenario), did you contact the seller and exchange them, or did you come here to complain and leave bad reviews without talking to them first? 3. People saying they're "hard to clean." - If you have road splatter, dirt, grime or bug goo that's stuck to them, take them off and clean them right away when you stop. Don't let them sit overnight or for days at a time and then expect a dried, caked on bug carcass to come off easily, that's probably not going to happen. Once again, they're glasses, not magic. They're not hard to clean if you use a microfiber cloth or some cleaning wipes. 4. People that complain about them not being durable and breaking - How do you treat your glasses? They come with a solid box, keep them in there at all times when you're not on the road. It's a small box, put the box in your riding bag. Sure if you're out and about and they keep falling off your head or you smash them in a bag, they're going to get weaker and break. Common sense and logic should be used.

Riding Glasses
Just received the shades this afternoon. Firstly, the look and feel are of a pair of RayBan Wayfarers. I like the rubberized frames, lenses are of good quality, very trendy. Next, I wanted a pair of shades to wear anytime of day while riding my Harley. I've sent inside pic of the glasses clear lens, and I went outside to experience the shade transition. As you can see, they DO NOT, turn black, and hide your eyes. They transition subtle to not give you a freak mental adjustment, but, just enough to SHADE your eyes. I have black out shades, but, I have to change them when it's dusk, dark. This is inconvenient and a hassle to me, so, I am pleased so far with the transition test, just enough for to SHADE your eyes, and use inside or evening without having to pull off the road to swap out. The cost is exceptional for the quality. They fit nicely on your face, I'm not skinny, or on the heavier side, but they feel that they would have a nice flex to fit any face, boney or chunky. I read the reviews and looked at the images of others. I feel it's a good buy. The versatility of the transition lenses are very good. Very light weight, but, they feel like they could stand up to a bug punch! I've not used them riding yet, will be road testing them this coming week off of Labor day weekend. Will report back with ride images etc.

What you would expect (with great UV protection)
These are good, dedicated bike glasses. They're cheap enough that you won't be mad if they break or you lose them. They block wind and bugs are well as you would expect. With a few hours of riding, there are no scratches or obvious smudges. They block UV well. They don't make everything look dark like sunglasses (in my photo, the left lens is darkened, and the right is undarkened), but you won't notice the sun when you're riding. They don't get as dark as they look in the photo. They're not the slimmest or lightest glasses, but not noticeably bulky or heavy. They fit similar to ray ban "justins". They have a slot to lock the included ear plugs into the sunglasses, which can also be used as a neck strap. Overall good glasses. Exactly what you would expect.

Do not get dark
They are comfortable and feel sturdy but they absolutely DO NOT get anywhere near as dark as the glasses in the pics show. They maybe get a little tint to them.

Exactly what I was looking for
So I've had these for about a month now and I've got about 600 miles sitting behind them. So far they've been great. I bought both pairs that EJ offers and the wrap around style doesn't sit right for me. I feel like my ears need to be lower for those to work. But these "gas station" style glasses fit the bill. They're comfortable, lightweight, fit right, stay in place and block the bugs and debris. And there's plenty of bugs around here (north end of the blue ridge parkway). No, they don't have the foam around them, but I don't get any wind in my eyes while wearing them. But the best part, not having to switch glasses when riding into the evening. I even leave them on going in and out of the places that I stop at because they're comfortable and keep doing the job. No, they're aren't the darkest, but they get dark enough while allowing great visibility. If you want to pretend your driving at night in the middle of the afternoon, then these aren't for you. I definitely recommend at least trying them (either style). For the price, you can't beat them. Glad I rolled the dice and tried them.

Great glasses but have a blue glare/tent
I want to say that these glasses in the sunlight have a very blue tent on the inside and a very blue tint glare on the outside. At first I was highly disappointed and was going to return the glasses but when I looked it up it said that it's the AV protection that goes on the lenses I really don't like the fact that it has the blue tint to it because it reminds me of the blue light blockers that I really don't like. But as you can see in my other picture on certain Shades depending the light it it doesn't show the blue other than that the glasses did get dark in the Sun and I really like them and it was a great fit on my head because I have a big head. Beside the blue they are great glasses

Great Glasses
Great riding glasses! Perfect for low light. The shade that comes on them is good for indirect sunshine but a little bright on the eyes in direct sunshine. Overall absolutely worth it. Great product!

Quality product. Great look. Fits nice
I wear these on the motorcycle mainly in the night. They work awesome. Look good too. Ive got a big head and they fit nicely. The auto tint is a nice feature but it doesnt seem to work inside a vehicle likely due to the UV protection built into the automotive glass. But on a motorcycle they work awesome.
