This can opener is solid metal and is very well made. It's easy to use and has a large turn knob. It's minimalistic in design and gets the job done. I’ve used it to open many cans and it hasn’t failed yet. I wipe it clean after each use to prevent any build up. I haven’t used the bottle cap feature but I’m pretty sure if I did it would work well too.

Unlike the junk being sold in Wally World, this thing doesn't feel like it's going to break while opening a can. I bought the version with plain steel handles, but the cutter is so sharp that excessive hand pressures are NOT involved. The result is it's comfortable and easy to use. The stainless steel construction should be durable. Great tool at a reasonable price!

Seems like a solid can opener. Heavy. Stainless. No plastic. Don't let that fool you. It lasted a few weeks at best. The rivet holding the two halves together loosened and made it to where the one half overshot the small metal tab that was the "stop". This made it unable for the gears to engage and spin the blade. Tried to bend the tab out a bit and it broke right off. Stuck a ground down sheet metal screw through the hole to act as a stop and limped it through for almost a year because I'm cheap and I'm not wasting 20 bucks if I can help it. Do not buy.

Cuts a perfect smooth edge and exceptional function for initiial opening of the can opening. Easy to use in the upper and lower level countertops. The handles are comforting to the hands and will be durable for many years to come. I have used it several times and now very happy with cans.

Feels strong and heavy-duty. It's easy to use and smooth to use. Opens cans fast and with good sharpness. It's one of the better ones I've purchased, but it broke after a while. Functionality is easy to use.

It is sturdy and works great, better than the ones I get from the local grocery store. I like that fact it has no plastic or rubber because that can peel off after a sitting in water, rubber and plastic holds food an bacteria and it starts to crack and fall off after a year or so. Stainless steel will last for a long, long time. It is easy to clean and sanitize. It looks really big in the picture but it is not, just normal size but the crank handle is a little longer than the other ones I own which helps with opening tough cans.

I love this can opener! We’ve been through so many, including a pampered chef one and I’ve hated them all because they end up failing or leaving metal shavings in my food after a year or so. This one opens cans way better than any other I’ve had and it’s cheaper than all the other ones. I really like how sturdy it feels too. I will probably buy another one to put in our camping box as well.
