Bought to replace the exact same model so it would fit the existing wall screws - and it does. (The previous one beeped to tell it was at the end of its lifetime, which had been 2 years longer than the expected 7 years.) The enclosed manual/leaflet contained instructions in various languages. Getting the batteries in, testing the detector and putting it up on the wall on the existing wall fitting was easy... I hope I never have to learn if it works in case of an actual carbon monoxide leak.

I've already got one of these and it cost £25 a couple of years ago. This is identical and at 60% of the cost great value. Easy to install, easy to test and appears to be a good piece of kit. How do you know whether these work if you have no CO leak? Hard to say but if no CO leak it hardly matters!

Well manufactured - robust and long-lasting. A repeat purchase to fit the wall mounting for the previous one I bought five years ago! Happily I cannot verify whether the alarm actually detects carbon monoxide - but it's reassuring knowing that if a problem ever did develop this would warn me in time.

I ordered this because the photo was exactly the same model as I previously had. However, when it arrived, it was another model with a digital screen. It still had the same wall fittings so no need to put in new raw plugs etc but I was disappointed that the photo did not match what I was provided. The supplier needs to update their photo. The item is ok but I would prefer one without the digital screen as I ordered, just for simplicity.

Ok pretty standard. Came with instructions in many languages but none in English!

Replaces an identical unit. Hopefully will never be needed in a real stuation

I bought this to replace my old first alert monitor. It was the same and therefore fitted onto my original screws. They have just changed the name. BRK make first alert smoke alarms.
