KalmAid Cat Gel | Reduce Nervousness, Separation Anxiety & Stress During Travel, Fireworks, or Vet Visits – 50ml Salmon & Caramel Flavour

My dog was a rescue dog. He has been brilliant in every way except that he has a real fear of travelling in the car. He was about 3-5 when we got him and we tried everything - back, front, floor, hatch back space, harness, no harness, short trips, regular stops, windows open, sitting in car without it going..... So we only travel with him if it is for him and to his benefit. He is physically affected, panting , shaking and often standing the whole journey, he can be sick too. Over the years we have managed but it has been restrictive. Recently my daughter got married and there was no one to leave him with as we travelled 200+ miles north for a couple of days. My vet recommended these. Wow is all I can say! he is an old dog now so we didn't want him knocked out. My husband has to help him into the hatch as he can no longer jump up. They simply subdued him, they had no effect on him physically except all the above simply stopped. After a very short while he laid down and eventually slept lightly for much of the journey. It took us 5 hrs in all each way and we stopped once to allow him to drink and stretch his legs. They lasted for the full journey and there was no sign of him being 'sleepy' or unresponsive when we arrived! I cannot recommend these more highly.

I got these on the advice of our dog trainer and they have changed my life (and the dog's!) However, once the pack was finished we moved onto Pooch & Mutt calming food, which just takes the edge off my amped up Mini Schnauzer and is a cheaper way to keep her calm. People giving one star reviews are either unlucky (I also tried Zyklene which some people swear by, and also the pheremone spray, but neither made slightest difference to my dog), expect miracles (this will not magically make your dog zen-like, you still need to reward calm behaviour etc, it just dials things down to a more manageable level), or have not tried giving consistently over a period of time. A few times we have switched to other food and we have noticed a marked difference. Last month my husband started using up some other dog food and didn't mention it to me. After a few days, I couldn't work out what was wrong with her and asked him what he was feeding her. Switched back to Pooch and Mutt and she was back to her still mad but not quite as bad self. So try the course of tablets first to see if it works for your dog. Good luck!

Good price but wasn't as effective as I hoped.

Worked wonders in calming a new 2 year old cat we adopted from Cats Protection. Just a little squirt of gek on food and worked within half an hour

The pump completely stopped working after 4 days. So now I can't get anything out of it to give the cat. So I don't know it if actually works to help settle the cat as he wasnt taking it long enough.

Having an elderly resue dog we found came with lots of issues we needed to work through mainly with his fear of travelling in cars, loud noises, fireworks, etc We have tried pretty much everything going from sprays to plug in's basically anything recommended by our vets and friends but nothing seemed to help. My mums friend recommended these and I was very dubious having tried so many things but it really was a turning point for us in so many ways and deep relief finally seeing some results! He was so chilled and alot less anxious and we have also turned a corner where he will now relax in the car on small journeys which is a massive stepping stone for him as well as us. Highly recommend this product

Bare with me here....I really don't even know where to start with reviewing kalmaid, I bought it on a bit of a whim, my beautiful 2yr old mid-long haired cat has recently been chewing all the fur of her back legs and stomach. She has always been shy, she hated people being in her house, she hates to go outside and she particularly hates when I leave the house (possibly because I don't do it that often), she has never really been one for playing, no matter how hard we and her cat siblings have tried and she has always been a funny one with cuddles as she doesn't particularly like movement or noise so if you breath to heavy or speak/cough etc that's it she's off, and her food intake was so hit and miss we have her weighed really frequently. The vet has diagnosed her with anxiety but I'm not sure I'm keen on her being sedated.... We'll blow me down this stuff has changed her life!!!! So I put a bit of this in my hands and rub it down her front legs, if she doesn't lick it out of my hand first and off she pops to lick it off. With in a few hours of the first use we thought we could see a difference in her but brushed it off as being in our head. The next day she seemed much more alert than usual and over the last 3 weeks she has transformed in to a totally new cat, one I have never met before. She now owns the house, she is playful, with us and with our other cats, she puts them in their place regularly rather than just walking off, she has had a massive increase in appetite and eats every meal and even asks for more food at times, she no longer hides at the sound of the doorbell, she still doesn't like strangers near her but it's early days yet, unfortunately she still over grooms when I leave the house and I was recently in hospital for a few days so she did that again but before that she was beginning to regrow tufts of hair so I think it's only a matter of time before it grows back again as long as we keep up with the calm aid and I have no emergency 'vacations' Thank you so much kalmaid makers for changing our lives!

👎🏼 The package had clearly been opened before shipping (all contents were inside but I personally find it unsettling). 👎🏼 The tablets are huge especially for cats, so you have to break/crush and offer them with a licky treat or wet food. 👎🏼 As for short term results, there was no improvement in my nervous cat's behaviour. Update: 👍🏼 After a week of giving my cat one tablet a day, he is considerably calmer overall. Less aggressive towards the other cats and even with a reduced appetite (he is obsessed with food, which contributes to his anxiety). So I would recommend this product for longer term stress relief.

He comprado de todo (collares con feromonas, spray calmante, pasta calmante, premios calmantes... ni las pastillas que me vendieron en el veterinario funcionaron, pero este líquido sí. Es mágico, mi gato es bueno y tranquilo otra vez... esta perdiendo las esperanzas hasta ayer que recibí el producto y lo probé enseguida. Hoy aun estaba incrédulo porque funciona mejor que los medicamentos de la veterinaria y funciona desde el primer momento... estoy muy agradecido por este producto, de verdad que estaba por tirar la toalla y he recuperado a mi gato gracias a este líquido milagroso. Ich kann die Wirkung noch nicht 100% beurteilen (aber ja - etwas ruhiger wird mein Kater. Ich gebe täglich aber nur einen Tropfen von der Fingerspitze). Aber - vom Geschmack muss es gut sein da mein Kater sehr wählerisch (heikel) ist - aber das schlabbert er immer sofort ab.
