I've never used this sort of thing before -I paint watercolor mostly but these seemed like they would be useful. I finally incorporated them in a mixed illustration with ink and watercolor and they exceeded my expectations. That sort of non-reflective dead light-drinking black is difficult to achieve in watercolor or ink but this black on watercolor paper is perfect for the job. They blend well, don't seem to wick very much and are surprisingly controllable. I'm getting more.

Great alternative to tradition expensive markers.

Very nice assortment and makes a great gray scale.

All the markers work great. One had some ink leak inside the cap during transport but it still works fine. Blends great. Good value for the price so far.

They are super pigmented, 0 would be nice to use to blend or make other colors lighter. I used 0 on the CG04 swatch to test it. They're different from the alchohol shades I normally use but I don't mind.

There is only a little bit of paint in these things and it is alcohol dissolvable so it's not very permanent It just you're not getting much for your money I can't believe there was so little in little tubes..

My daughter prefers to draw in grayscale and these are absolutely perfect. They write smoothly and the color variation is great. If they ever run out, we'll be sure to order again.

A beautiful set of grays. They are evenly graduated from light to dark. Be sure to place a spare sheet of paper under your work as the inks really bleed through. I highly recommend these markers.
