At the end of the day, the Canon beats the rest of the pack in final price, value, and in quality. Canon’s color, print accuracy and final price for print are outstanding quality and can’t be matched. You can’t go wrong with the Canon Celphy CP 1500. I’m ok on The absolute biggest perk of the Canon printer is the fact that the consumables are considerably less expensive then the consumables ofall the competitive printers on the market. The print quality is top notch and I don’t think you’ll find a better printer with reasonably priced consumables available. I highly recommend this Canon Selphy 4 x 6 printer as a great deal and definitely worth the investment.

What is there to say? It's an OEM paper and thermal roll. The quality of the photo is what you expect from a OEM canon product. The price is reasonable. I wish the thermal roll wasn't so small where you can use 1 to print all 108 photos, instead, 1 thermal toner only prints 54 photos.

to be fair the outer box amazon shipped it in had a rough journey, i'd imagine if amazon ships this in a bubble package it'll be worse. One of the film cartridges had about a 1" tear on the film, so before i even installed it i was worried it'll continue to rip and just jam in the printer, destroying any chance of printing half of the package. Fortunately it didn't rip all the way, and worked fine. I got this for use in the CP1500. There are a lot of misconceptions on what cartridges to use for what printers, etc. OEM consumables are more often than not, less expensive than the aftermarket stuff. Stick with OEM for these. The canon website will tell you what consumables you need for your printer, but for the 1500 i'll break it down for you. ---Every pack of sheets and ink comes with enough to print all photos. It's a dye sublimation printer, not an ink jet printer, not a toner cartridge printer. for the RP108, you get 108 sheets, and 2 cartridges with enough film to produce exactly 54 prints each. ---Using the P tray that comes with the printer, you can do 4"x6" prints RP-108: Photo paper, 108 sheets, 2 high capacity cassettes KP-108IN: Photo paper, 108 sheets, 3 standard cassettes KP-108IP: Photo paper with postcard markings on back, 108 sheets, 3 standard cassettes ---there are also other consumables, in C size 2.1"x3.4", but they'll require purchase of a PCC-CP400 paper tray: KC-36IP: Photo paper, 36 sheets, 1 cassette KC-18IF: photo Label paper (stickers), whole sheet is a sticker, 18 sheets, 1 cassette KC-18IL: photo Label paper (stickers), sheet is divided to 8 stickers, 18 sheets, 1 cassette KC-18IS: photo Label paper (stickers), sheet is divided to 2 square stickers, 18 sheets, 1 cassette ---and last, L size, 3.5x4.7", requires purchase of PCPL-CP400 paper tray (which will also do KP/RP 4x6, idk why they didn't just ship all of the printers with this tray.): KL-36IP, 3.5x4.7" photo paper, 36 sheets, 1 cassette Hopefully this is helpful, and saves you from having to figure out your consumable options.

Das Einlegen der Kartusche und des Papiers ist sehr einfach gelöst und in wenigen Sekunden erledigt. Die Druckqualität überzeugt, die Bilder wirken sauber und gleichmäßig. Wichtig ist lediglich, dass man ausgepacktes Papier staubgeschützt lagert. Jedes Staubkorn, das auf dem Papier liegt, wird beim Druck mit der Farbe des Farbbandes fixiert und ist später im Bild sichtbar. Hält man das Papier sauber, gibt es hier aber keinerlei Probleme. Insgesamt ein zuverlässiges System mit sehr guter Qualität und unkomplizierter Handhabung.
