Brilliant, makes fantastic burgers, no matter what meats you use. I did consider the double burger maker, but as there is only me to consider, I settled for the single one. One other thing, it is so easy to use and even more easy to clean.

This is a great product, and it works! If like me you have tried making burger patties in the past and had them fall to pieces whilst cooking then this is for you. Used in conjunction with separators, either plastic discs [which I used] or paper, the patties come out clean and dense with no crumbling or recourse to egg etc as a binder. I am no cook only recently embarking on baking bread and with the purchase of a Kmix, making sausages which in turn led to burgers. If looks are important, it does look nice on a shelf, quite rustic. It comes with a little recipe book, but I Google'd recipes and modified my own with beef shoulder and oxtail. and a little seasoning. The press can be adjusted before use to produce the required burger 1/4lb etc so it's only necessary to divide the mince after grinding into balls by weight and pop them in and press down. Downsides are that [probably due to the casting process] the indexing for thickness on the screw threaded shaft is [or was for my ageing eyesight] too faint to see without a magnifying glass. Although the finish resembles cast iron it is actually an alloy and deceptively light making it feel flimsy. If it were iron like Le Creuset pans even at at higher price point it might be better but treated well, I don't doubt that it will survive at least residential use and the professional looking burgers are great.

It makes making bespoke thickness burgers simple, easy and consistent! You need to order the wax papers separately. My rating? 10/10 ! Can’t fault it. Buy the patty maker with gut spring loader to pop them out effortlessly time and again.

Like everything about this press, sturdy and easy to use. One small point is, ensure you use on a board or similar surface rather than directly on work top, risk of scratching as there are no feet or other protection around the base.

Burger press arrived from Amazon US (I'm in UK). Firstly. On opening, the first thing I looked for was Patty Weight Markings.....There are NONE, so if you weigh your mince, like I do, you have to keep playing around with the adjuster until you get a good formed patty. Secondly. The quality of the finish on the press is not what I expected from todays manufacturing.....50 years ago maybe I would say the finish is what I would have expected, but not in 2023. VERY POORLY FINISHED. Thirdly. Yes after a lot of messing about it will make a Burger Patty, but I found it also cuts in places the parchment paper I used. I wanted a press to make 6oz patties, my 2 existing presses do indeed make these, after weighing out the mince and pressing and trying to keep the patties uniform, they both do a good job, the Weber press sadly only does 4oz and 8oz Patties, but you are still able to press a good 6oz patty with it......If it hadn't come all the way from the US then it would be going back, but I can't be bothered returning it and have to go all through the process of waiting for it to be returned back to the US for the refund. Buy at your own discretion, there are better Burger Presses available to do the job out there and a lot cheaper......Lesson Learn't.

This press is well made and works very well. You can make a lot of burgers in a short time with very little effort. The adjustable thickness is a great feature. I used to use a manual two piece press that you had to put a lot of pressure on and twist as you pressed, it has now been recycled. This is extremely easy to use. You definitely need waxed paper on each side to prevent them from sticking and making a mess of the press. The patties do come out slightly thicker on one side but it is not anything to worry about. I would definitely recommend this press, even if you are only doing a few burgers at a time!! Great purchase.
