Responsive and snappy
This is my first Toshiba after a few sceptre TVs. The image, quality, sound and responsiveness overall is blowing my mind at this price point. I will update in a few months for longevity. Easy to set up, has voice commands with alexa, destroys my roku ultra lt set up I had with the last TV. At 43" the pixel density at 4k (It is upscaled Regza 4k not naitve, which is fine). Usually upscaled 4k is hard to distinguish from native 4k, for casual viewing and budget price point. But this. Update to this review 1/26/25 This is the best tv I have ever owned, the sound is amazing, ut has a gaming mode and hdr for gaming in my case on an og ps5, I will update in 6 months for longevity, so awesome. It also has great viewing anngles from a couch on the side, probably has an ips display. Buy in confidence!! :)

No-brainer if you already stream Amazon Prime.
SUMMARY: Bright, sharp picture. Vibrant colors. At this price point, you’re getting way more than you’re paying for. First of all, nobody is making money on this TV except maybe Toshiba. This unit is so affordable likely because it’s a loss leader for Amazon Prime and Amazon Music (built in). It’s like selling a $35 printer, because the profits are made on the ink cartridges. Over the lifetime of this unit, Amazon will make more than enough off streaming subscriptions to offset the initial loss. I’m sure Netflix and Disney also paid to have their own buttons on the remote, further offsetting the cost of this unit. Keeping the low price in mind, the picture is outstanding. Bright enough for brightly lit rooms. As some have noted, the black point could be darker, but it is not fair to compare this with $1000+ screens. Unless you’re a professional film colorist or you are used to pro-level editing monitors, this is not something you’re going to notice. Previously, we had a non-smart TV with a firestick, so this eliminated one remote. A convenient “settings” button takes you directly to that menu, bypassing all the navigation. Built-in sound is pretty good, but we have a home-theater audio system connected with an optical cable, which truly completes the big-screen experience. (If you don’t want to go all out with 5.1 or 7.1, I have the Toshiba soundbar with subwoofer on another firetv, and it is outstanding.) Settings gives you the ability to adjust for bluetooth audio delay when you’re using buds or phones. Overall, if you’re already an Amazon Prime customer, this is a no-brainer. P.S. The 3-year protection plan is a good investment. I had another, smaller, Toshiba screen develop some thin black horizontal lines near the bottom of the screen after a couple of years, and it paid for the TV.

Good quality, easy to get going
Disclaimer: I'm absolutely not someone who is going to nitpick about the picture quality to the point of caring about how truly HD something is. I can tell if the picture is bad or grainy or if there are burned out spots, but otherwise I'm not that concerned about it. What mattered to me is having a TV that made it easier for me to get to everything I have on streaming and to get a slightly better quality than my old TV without paying a lot. This definitely works on those fronts. Navigating settings is pretty straightforward and this thing honestly works pretty decently out of the box. It's not too hard to add a soundbar to this, and odds are good that you'll want to consider one as I'd say the only drawback about this TV I've noticed is that the sound isn't as good as my old one was. Your mileage may vary/tolerance level may as well, but a soundbar fills in that gap nicely. The remote it comes with is honestly pretty much geared to assume you're using Fire to stream (which seems fair - after all, this IS a fire TV, though my Roku would also have plugged in fine if I wanted to keep using it). As I mentioned, the only thing I love less is the sound on this TV and even there it's not a big deal. I'll see how this holds up over time but for now I consider it a pretty good value and wish I'd sprung for it earlier.

TV works well. Great picture. Fire architecture not so great!
Good solid tv. Fire OS occasionally hijacks the TV to try to sell me something requiring several clicks on the remote to exit then go where I want to go. That just sucks! I also consider it a privacy concern. I have more crashes with the fire os than the Roku. Overall, great TV but disappointing user experience at times.

Great Regular TV I’m Using Outdoors—Affordable and Works Well
I know this isn’t an outdoor TV, but I needed something for my patio and didn’t want to spend thousands on a weatherproof model. I decided to try the Toshiba 43” Class C350, and it’s been working really well! The picture is bright and clear, and the Fire TV interface is super convenient for streaming. It’s a regular TV, so I keep it in a covered area, away from direct rain and sun, and so far it’s holding up just fine. For the price, it’s an amazing solution if you want a TV outside without spending a fortune. Just be mindful to protect it from the elements. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a budget outdoor setup using an indoor TV

Broken Software ruins a great piece of Hardware
The software needed to operate the TV is broken and ruins the experience of such a nice TV screen. I own 2 of these, one at home and one at work. Here are my main issues: 1. It takes about 30 seconds to boot up the TV. This is sad, my old 90's TV's would turn on instantly and this TV takes time to boot up and 30 seconds doesn't sound like a long time until you are just sitting there waiting for the TV to boot up. Feels like I am using a Windows 95 computer every time I boot up the TV. 2. There is no HDMI button on the remote. Sometimes I just want to boot into an HDMI port or switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 quickly (if I am watching two live games at the same time). Yet I cannot; to switch from HDMI to HDMI you have to click the home button, wait a few seconds for the menu to load, scroll over to HDMI, wait for loading, then click on which HDMI you want. This makes switching HDMI's take multiple button presses and multiple wait times. This is ridiculous and should've been looked into ahead of time. 3. Sleep Timer is broken. The Sleep timer for the TV cannot be turned off. Meaning if you want your TV to be on for more than 4 hours you will have to continuously go back and press a button to keep the TV on. Not only that but the timer is broken as I have set the timer for the maximum of 4 hours and my TV could be off anywhere between 30 minutes and 4 hours, the timing is completely random from what I can tell. Now this is less of a big deal as I do not watch TV for more than 4 hours but is an issue at my work. I installed this TV in the lobby of my office and have it displaying the Amazon Photos app slideshow of all the projects we do. The problem is I cannot turn this on and leave it in the lobby for the whole day, I have to continuously go back and check if the slideshow is still playing in the lobby which will seemingly random play for 30 minutes to about 4 hours and then automatically turn off. Making this more of an annoyance than a fun way of marketing. Overall, I use Amazon Fire TV sticks all over my house and I truly like the interface. Yet when I am forced to use the interface because it is built into the TV itself it begins to affect things it never should have messed with such as not have a dedicated HDMI button, having long boot up and load times, and not being able to mess with basic TV functions such as sleep timers. These items should be hardware based and not software based, and it ruins the device in my opinion.

Great picture
I have had this tv now for 2 years it is flawless works every time only thing I didn’t like was the mount that I previously had was too small I guess that is what you get when you go from a 40 to a 75 perfect install with new mount
