My pup (11yo Morkie) has LOTS of food allergies, I have to be very careful what he eats. These are mono ingredient and great treats for him that he loves and keeps him healthy. There are a few brands out there, these are currently best value I could find. Great for training, I also bribe him with them when trimming his nails.

My Goldendoodle puppy is almost 10 months old and has been eating these (along with other things) since I got him at 2 months. I've just purchased my 4th bag. These are pricy and the price keeps going up. Initially, I was only using them as treats but as he grew older he became more picky about food. I use these in his meals when he does overnight stays at the pet hotel because I know he will be more likely to eat this. I have tried the other products from Vital Essentials and my puppy likes most of them (order: Duck Treat, Beef Liver Treat, Rabbit Entree, Chicken Entree, Beef and Chicken Entree). These have a slightly gamey smell to them and a crunchy texture. I hope the price does not continue to rise or this won't be affordable.

This is the best food/topper, balanced with bone, organ and muscle meat. I feed about 70% vital essentials and 30% kibble. It really helped my dog tremendously with allergies. I rotate rabbit, duck and beef {my dog is allergic to chicken}. It also helps to keep plaque away on teeth. Best and most convenient food I’ve found.

My fussy cat won’t eat most types of the usual cat treats, but he howls for these. They are a clean food source it seems. He loves the crispy but not hard texture. There is no odour. As treats the pricing was ok, but he’s gradually migrated to eating these as half of his caloric intake in a day. It’s become an expensive food source. But I swear he’s put on a lot of muscle since he started eating these. I don’t begrudge paying for quality, but do really think they should be cheaper.

I got what I ordered. I give these to my cats as toppers. I just take scissors and cut them up a little smaller so their little mouths can fit it. But it's an essential in my household

"Entree"...where? These tiny quantities for boocoup bucks is unreal! This one was probably better priced. My dog doesn't burp, itch, have ear yeast with rabbit.
