This camera is pretty amazing for its size
This camera is pretty amazing for its size. The only downside that I can see is the lack of a concise set of instructions. When I worked out how it all works, then life became fairly simple and straight forward and now I can connect to wi fi and Blu Tooth with no dramas on my Iphone SE and Ipad. Highly recommended.

LG360 app discontinued
This camera should not be sold at this time 2021, the app and software has been discontinued by LG . Message on LG Website " We express a sincere gratitude for your patronage to LG 360 CAM Manager Service. Due to changes in our operation policies, LG 360 CAM Manager Service via mobile applications will be terminated as of June 20, 2020 " . Also on PC the LG App needs constant update , from websites which are totally unsecure, I know cause I have tried it . DONT BUY , you have been warned . If I could I would gave it NO STAR RATING !!

Great camera with issues to be aware of.
Great camera. Let down by a few issues: Copying videos to the mobile via its wifi is long and painful. Desktop software is ok but could be better. When plugged to a Mac, the camera storage (Micro SD) can not be viewed. It's like the old Nokia's that needed a driver for the cable, apart from even after hours and using 3 different Macs, I couldn't get LG's bridge software to work. So I purchased a Micro SD to USB adapter. Quality is good for the price, images and videos aren't the best but for 360 on the move, it's more than acceptable.

Not 4k but. Good for average personal use.
What I like with LG 360 camera is the design and portability. It is very easy to carry. The cover can be used as a stand on any flat surface. You can attach a tripod. The buttons are straight forward to use between photo and video with audio. Things that I'm not too happy with are: Battery - not good for long use. But with a help of power banks your good. Wireless connection - it can be a bit challenging most of the time connecting to Bluetooth and wireless connectivity to control the camera via the LG 360 app either IOS or Android. You may view all the videos and photos but transferring wirelessly can be frustrating most of the time due to poor connection even the phone is near the camera. To avoid hassle better remove the sd card and just transfer it via cable or sd card reader. Well of course you can be lucky enough to be connected and do it wirelessly. Photo quality - most of the time you can clearly see the line connecting each side of the photos. It's not perfectly stitched together. Otherwise this little gadget is good enough for personal and basic use.

Terrible
The app doesnt work reliably at at all. To connect to your phone is a laborious process which often needs repeating constantly. The photo quality is Ok at best but bad in low light. Would not recommend.

Just not good enough
Works, but don't believe the sample videos / pictures you can find online. This content this creates is incredibly low res and more importantly, BLURRY when viewed in VR. It's really like one of the terrible first generation 640x480 first generation webcams. If you remember those, you'll also remember that mobile photography never really took off until we got past those rubbish things. Go with a 4k device from a better manufacturer, even if you have to wait a while for it. This is NOT worth it.

LG 360 Camera is the LoGical entry into 360 Video
Great 360 Camera, specially for the price. 360 & VR video is tricky. While it is not new technology, it is now becoming mainstream. Until recently you had to wrangle an array of cameras pointed in at least 4 directions, depending on the lenses you have attached. I have played with the Ricoh Theta, the Kodak PixPro, the Nikon Keymission, and some overseas knockoffs, all aimed at the consumer market. If you want anything pro or prosumer, you need to spend money building an array of GoPros or whatever other cameras you prefer, buy a license for overpriced software to just stitch your footage together or add a simple title. It's a hassle, but you get amazing footage. The LG G5 360 Camera is a great, simple solution to get basic 360 video functionality with free, albeit very basic stitching software. Like the Theta & Theta S, Nikon Keymission and the Topvision knockoffs, this is a camera that includes 2 lenses on the same body. It outputs a 2K video image that covers the entire 360x360 sphere. The Nikon Keymission can do 4K, but the footage looks about the same and the Nikon App is terrible with abundant connection issues. Talking about connections, most of these consumer cameras can be used as stand alone cameras, but you will benefit by using the manufacturers software to preview and stitch your footage. Like I mentioned the Nikon has terrible connection reliability, but so do the Kodak 2-camera setup and the Topvision knockoffs. The LG 360 Camera connects like a breeze to your phone. Once connected, you will be able to select ISO and Shutter Speed and an assortment of tuned profiles. The LG 360 Camera works with any smartphone that can support the LG app. One downside is that to update firmware, you MUST a computer with another LG software called LG Bridge which installs some extra crap meant to allow you browsing of your LG branded cellphone files... I didn't need that and I was never given an option to not install it. Mind you this software is only used to update firmware and browse content. You need a separate LG 360 viewer app to view and convert videos. They could have learned a thing or two from Canon and Sony on this one. Bad LG, bad! Photos look amazing at 13MP, but why would you not just download Google Cardboard Camera and create better photospheres? The only thing this camera gives the photo enthusiast is ease of use as you just hold it up and click the button. But you will always see your frankenstein looking stitched hand or your tripod. You don't get that with your phone, but you do get it with EVERY 360 camera. I recommend getting a telescoping monopod with a tripod floor spread. What I love: Easy workflow, a lot of control (you need to use the LG made camera app on either your phone or laptop, the stitched files are a breeze to work with), small, comes with a hard case, footage looks great for a 2K 360 camera, 1 camera with 2 lenses attached(no fiddling with rigs or trying to sync the footage in post). What I hate: The low light capabilities are lacking (but this is expected with such small sensors, after all this is not a Sony A7S), the footage is at times muddy and blocky (once again, light plays a big part but the codec LG uses is a bit lackluster), 2K is fine but LG could have easily made this a 4K camera, LGs obnoxious computer app is required to update firmware.
