I was missing a coil spring from a forty year old attic door. Couldn’t find one long enough. So this pair of springs can be secured/hooked together and served the purpose!

Parts were fine, they did not come in time and I need to send them back.

This spring is unfortunately not strong enough to hold my ladder. I had to change back to the old spring. The same problem as another review, wish I read that one before purchasing.
