I don't like EQ's or GOTO's. Is there a manual ALT-AZ mount that has slow-motion control cables that is compatible with this telescope?

Rene, this OTA comes with a Standard Celestron Dovetail mounting strip, which should be compatible with most all Celestron (and probably many other) ALT-AZ mounts with a dovetail slot. As always, the trick is to get a good mount and tripod. Check out the Celestron Omni CG-4 Mount Equatorial Telescope Mount (on EBay and elsewhere). I have one of these for a good manual telescope tripod/mount. It's about $300, give or take, but worth the money. Clear skies!

How much does it weigh?

Advertised weight(from Celestron) is 10lbs, but the actual weight is a touch over 8lbs with included accessories.

Can this be used for Astrophotography ?

Certainly. You can attach various accessories to it for that purpose. Check out Cloudy Nights or other websites for advice.

Will this fit on the EQM-35 mount and tripod?

If you are using this scope for visual use, that mount will be ok. For Astrophotography a more robust mount would be a a better fit.
