Best chili oil I've ever used. My ex-husband is Vietnamese and what he eats is like eating fire with no actual flavor. He kissed me on the cheek once after eating it and I instantly got a liquid filled blister. This has flavor it has multi-layered flavor and the sesame seeds really at a texture and interest to the noodles that I didn't expect at all. I started out with a very Bland noodle I got Sesame miso which was a little sweeter than I wanted and really didn't have a lot of flavor so that's a good one to start with but add this to it and it's really quite good I think this would work on nearly anything I'm a little afraid that I'm going to have to buy it by the case. Black truffle is next!

I picked up Momofuku Chili Crunch by David Chang (5.5 oz) because I kept hearing about how good it is, and honestly, it lives up to the hype. The heat level is noticeable but very manageable. It’s spicy, but it’s the good kind of spicy — not one-note burn, but layered with flavor that keeps you going back for a little more. If I had one minor note, it’s that it’s easy to go a bit heavy if you’re not careful, so I’ve learned to start with a small amount and add more as needed. Overall, this chili crunch has become a staple in my fridge. It’s bold, flavorful, and versatile, and I’ll definitely reorder when this jar runs out.

Very spicy with crunch, but not intolerable spice. It must be stirred, as the crunch and spices sink to the bottom of the jar. I bought this because somebody on Instagram recommended it as an inclusion in sourdough bread. I got it on sale and as an auto ship for less than $8. This 5.5 oz jar will last a long time!! Because it is very oily, I tried to tilt spoon strain it a little bit and only added a small amount to my sourdough. I added the chili crunch while shaping the dough. It definitely has a kick when baked in a bread. It’s tolerable for a baked spice, but it is spicy. I did not like the flavor right out of the jar, but I do like it baked inside the bread. Next time I’ll add some cheddar cheese too!

I have used this in the past for marination needs for the meats when I barbecue at home. The taste is very flavorful and gives a nice kick to the meat. Reasonably price as well compared to local store. I would recommend these for any seasoning needs at home kitchen. Can pair well for many needs in the kitchen.

Very yummy an acquired taste I believe but very crunchy and the heat was nice not to hot.

I was watching James Bok recipes on Instagram and he uses this often in his tuna salads and other recipes. I ordered it, and it is a tad bit spicy (looks more hot than it is), but a tsp is not that hot, but adds a little extra spice that improves food. I will buy it again.

It’s ok. Doesn’t taste bad but doesn’t have much flavor. Doesn’t live up to the reviews. Fly By Jing extra spicy is by far our family of eights favorite! Much more flavorful.

I didn't particularly like this chilli oil and it was super expensive for what it was.
