Bottom line up front: This is a great, solid number pad that's inexpensive and has the standard 17-key layout. I'm very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.I have a 10-keyless mechanical keyboard for my main keyboard. Recently I needed a numpad for some occasional data entry and began to search for one. It's frustrating and disappointing how difficult it is to find a good number pad with mechanical switches that has the standard 17-key layout. I really wanted to get the 17-key one since that's what I'm used to. Too many manufacturers shrink keys such as + and zero, and some even move keys like replacing minus with backspace. Why? Argh!Fortunately, I found this numpad and decided to take a chance on it. No regrets. This numpad meets all my expectations and was just what I wanted, albeit with a few minor annoyances that are easy enough to live with.Pros:The connector is USB-C so you can use a modern connector. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable so you can hook it up to older computers too.It has a nice weight to it and feels solidly built. The feet do a good job holding on to the desk. It doesn't move around when used.I got the version with the blues and it feels and sounds great. Every key press is solid and nothing feels wobbly.This is personal, but I like the color scheme. Too many numpads are all black, and this one is different and pleasing to the eye.Some minor cons:It lights up and has "effects". Why someone would want this, I have no idea. I find it annoying. However, it's easy to turn off the backlighting, and the numpad will remember the setting even if unplugged.The num lock light is a bright bluish-white which is distracting. It's nothing that a small piece of tape can't fix, but I wish the manufacturer had used something unobtrusive like a standard green LED.The homing bar on the 5 key is a little small. I wish it were slightly more prominent, but this is also not that big of a deal for me.

This is a great, sturdy numeric keyboard for a laptop user who's looking for a number pad to make life a little easier. Keys have great tactile feedback, and it's compatible with linux, window, mac, and android laptop devices. It's a full size num pad, which helps, too. It's a little too chunky to be a permanent member of your computer bag *just in case* you might need it, but also not so obtrusive that you wouldn't want to take it with you if you were planning on using it. Still, for at home use in occasional accounting sessions, which is what I bought it for, it's a great addition to your digital tool set.

I love my Filco keyboard. It was a present from a friend. But I wish it had the numbers pad since I use it for work all the time. Until one day I thought about just getting a number pad. This works great with my keyboard. It has the clicky sound as I like. If you perfer a softer sound, this may not be the right one for you. But I've been using it for a few months now and it works great.

My husband got this for me to use with my work laptop so that I can have a keypad to more efficiently put in numbers as I work. I like that it can easily plug into the laptop and I can do what I need to do. I like that it makes a fun clicky sound like old fashioned computer keyboards. What I don't like - the cord is super long and really just gets in the way. A much shorter cord would be ideal for my use anyway. I also dislike that it is as elevated as it is - it's not a slim profile - it is about an inch or more from the table surface which takes a little getting used to, when your'e otherwise typing on a slim laptop. But overall, it's handy and I'm happy to have it.

You may not find a better bang for your buck. Pleasantly surprised by the build quality and feel. While the "blue" switches do not have the same click, I'm used to it with my Keychron blues, but I wasn't expecting it to. It's a bit hollow sounding too, but you could mod it with some foam if it annoys you. The USB cable is an awful stark white that looks bad with the classic colors of the keypad. However, it is sufficiently long and an easy fix as it's not permanently attached. If you don't want to pay three times as much, I'd give it a try. OH! the Backlight.... It's not a shine-through, so really only for looks. The modes are okay, but you can just turn it off too.

I bought this to go with the keyboard as I was just used to having a keypad. What I will say is that while the color scheme matches my keyboard, it comes with white light instead of rainbow lights and the keys sound different.The sound of the keyboard is lovely and while the number pad has an enjoyable sound it's a brighter chirpier sound.

Pretty much the same review as everyone else. It's a great little 10-key but the description IS INCORRECT....not hot swappable boooooo. It matches the colors of my NuPhy keyboard so I decided to roll the dice, what are you going to do?I kept the stars at a respectable 3 because the build quality is solid and the keycaps are going to last.

I purchased the Kisnt number pad to use while working from home. The laptop the IT department sent did not have a number pad, and having one was essential to my daily duties. I ordered the Kisnt number pad; it was perfect. My only complaint is that I lost the instructions and would sometimes accidentally hit the number pad in the wrong combination, making the lights on the pad go off. The pad lights flickering became annoying and distracting. Unfortunately, I could not find instructions online (not even YouTube) to turn off the flickering lights. The manufacturer should consider putting instructions for the light controls on the back of the number pad! Other than that one issue, the Kisnt number pad had a fair price, and the product was exactly what I needed. Meets my needs perfectly. I highly recommend it and would buy it again.
