No, there is no roasting date on the bag, but coffee is freshly roasted and packed into a one-way valve bag for optimum freshness. We get rave reviews too. It's good coffee.

Hi, are these beans mycotoxin free? Much appreciated

Small traces of mycotoxins can be found in all coffees however, in general, the trace is so small it is absolutely negligible. We do monitor for Ochratoxins and Alphatoxins by sending random samples testing regularly.

Are these oily beans and do they work in a bean to cup machine

No, these are not oily beans. Brown Bear Blue Mountain is a Medium Roast. Oily beans generally result from a darker roast. Yes, they are ideal for a Bean To Cup machine.

Extremely nice coffee

Very nice coffee, I was very impressed. I usually spend a lot more money on coffee beans but I thought I’d try brown bear coffee instead, and it was worth it ! I’d recommend this product highly to others

Good coffee

I have only used this coffee in a bean-to-cup machine, so can't tell about how wonderful and vivid bouquet it has, but one thing is for sure - it's better than any Lavazza. Certainly a good coffee and I'm glad I tried it. Not my favourite, but a good replacement when it's out of stock.

Il caffè colombiano è più corposo rispetto a quello brasiliano ma ha una maggiore acidità. Nel complesso è un caffè dolce e ben bilanciato. Mostra note di caramello, marzapane e di nocciole tostate. Il venditore non specifica tuttavia la varietà di arabica utilizzata (Medellín Supremo?) ma la qualità del caffè è comunque ottima. La tostatura è media.
