Is the honeycomb bowl difficult? I need some thing that is rather difficult for my dog to eat mashed sweet potatoes?

It’s very shallow. Not at all what I needed. I would say if you have a tiny dog it could work.

What is the diameter of the bowl?

It is 8 inches. You will find measurements in the 5th image.
