Good variety of ideas and photos good too.
Husband is a sandwich addict and I was running out of ideas so bought this in desperation, and it didnโt disappoint. Good descriptions and photos with some unusual combinations which he will be trying in the near future when Iโve exhausted all the fairly standard ones. Recommended.

This makes you feel peckish.
Arrived good time in very good condition. Tempting dishes to try of varying degrees hot, cold, easy, complicated looking. Some of these sandwiches are ones you would need to plan and not just rustle up. Some seem to be meat dishes where you could forget the bread. But looks good fun. Some amazing ideas.

excellent gift
I bought this for a friend for his birthday and he was made up! The book comes with lots of kinds of sandwiches (obvious, I know) but you'd be surprised by how many are quite strange and unique. I'd never heard of most of them, but they looked fantastic in the pages so they're worth a shot. If you are or know someone who is a foodie, this is a book to get for them.

I like the way it ranges from the simple to the more complex fillings. A brilliant book for ideas.

Leaves you hungry
Must have been old stock as the book came with obvious signs I'd water damage like it had been in a box which had been partially flooded. Luckily I only paid ยฃ2 with Prime for it.Content wise it's OK, don't expect in depth recipes, it's mostly a humerus description, ingredient lists and image. But not for every entry. A good Christmas stocking filler if you hut at a discount price but probably lacking for most people at normal RRP.

Sammiches are Beautiful
Starting with a BLT and ending with a dessert sammich, this book has variations for every occasion. My DH and I have been working through this book systematically, and every experience is a welcome surprise of good taste and vibrant flavors. I'm loving this experience of cultural variations on a simple yet versatile food form.A cool thing: the Author grouped a series of simple sandwiches and counted them as 1 recipe. A (selfish) complaint: the Author did NOT group a handful of simple dessert sandwiches that were more similar than the savory set that were grouped. I feel like grouping the simple dessert sammiches might have left room for more sandwich recipes.TL;DR: I want more recipes, please!

It's a good basic book
It's a good basic book. Some of the recipes are sketchy as far as amounts and ingredients, but it gives you an idea of what should be included in each sandwich.

Gift
Bought it as a gift. A little disappointed that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was included. Sorta felt like they were cheating a little. ;). But lots of fun the the gift recipient as he aims to make all the sandwiches this year.
