Effective but overpriced a staedler plastic eraser would do the same job.

Surprisingly effective, but it is just a regular 'rubber' eraser
It works really well, I was surprised how effectively it can remove sharpenin detritus actually. But it is nothing more than a regular rubber you'd use on pencil markings, and so overpriced for what it is. Proves the concept though - you can erase your stones to a blank slate!
