The plastics feel good, seem to have good tolerances. The motors inside don't quite seem as high quality as the Lego they are cloning, but they are not bad - just a bit lower torque and seem louder. The remotes work nicely with the ratchet up the power and stop button functioning as expected and the multiple channels on the RX/TX pair work to let you run more than one remote or receiver together.The only real annoyance with these clones is they don't work directly with the Lego IR receiver or transmitter and it seems not every batch is identical in the language they speak either, while looking virtually identical. And that could be a blessing if you really need to operate lots of these things near each other. I've ordered a few of these now and while the batch that arrived together is entirely interoperable the older transmitter/receiver pair won't bind with the new ones. So buy a decent permanent marker to label them if yours don't all just work together.
