Can this be used with sash locks?

It will work with a Sash door lock as long as there is a suitable handle that will accommodate the u shaped top piece.

What is the pin with split ring for near the top?

The pin is to hold the bar in place once you have chosen the desired measurement.

Can anyone tell me how to make the padded foot more sticky to the floor? I'm struggling to fix the foot. It seems slippery

One of mine is on a tiled floor, up to the handle, it doesn't move at all. Have expanded it enough, it should be a snug fit.

Question for solon security, do you do a door brace that will extend to 170cm? thanks.

This is the only type we do, sorry.
