It Works for Me.
I'm giving this product five stars. Granted, it is kind of expensive but the 12oz. size works for me. I only need 1ounce of this to make my mushrooms and rice, so it does last quite awhile. It is loaded with flavor and I like the mix of different mushrooms. I'm sticking with this brand.

Absolutely Delicious and Incredibly Versatile โ A Must-Have for Mushroom Lovers!
I recently picked up The Wild Mushroom Co. Dried Gourmet Mix European Mushrooms (12 oz / 340g), and I have to say, these mushrooms are fantastic. The quality and flavor are outstanding, and theyโve become a staple ingredient in my kitchen for a wide variety of dishes. First, the flavor is rich and earthy โ exactly what you want from high-quality dried mushrooms. Rehydrated, they regain a perfect texture and an intense, savory aroma that adds depth to soups, sauces, risottos, pasta dishes, and even savory baked goods. Each type of mushroom in the mix contributes a slightly different flavor profile, which makes every dish taste more complex and gourmet. I also love how versatile they are. Iโve used them in everything from a creamy mushroom risotto to a simple sautรฉed mushroom side, and even sprinkled them over roasted vegetables for extra umami. Theyโre perfect for enhancing everyday meals or for making special dishes when I want something extra flavorful. The quantity and packaging are great too โ 12 ounces gives you plenty to work with, and the mushrooms stay fresh and easy to store. A little goes a long way because the flavor is so concentrated. Overall, The Wild Mushroom Co. Dried Gourmet Mix is a kitchen must-have for anyone who enjoys cooking. It elevates dishes with ease, has amazing flavor, and is versatile enough to use in countless recipes. If you love mushrooms or want to add rich, gourmet flavors to your meals, this product is a perfect choice!

A good value
A very good product and provides excellent flavor when used as a seasoning. There is a generous amount in the container that should last a long time if the contents are used as a condiment.

I use them as seasoning.
I put them into the food processor with a few herbs and spices and pulse until they are very fine. This makes a great Umame seasoning. Soups, casseroles, stews or whatever. Even people who don't like mushrooms because of the texture are fine with this. There is no strong mushroom flavor. It's much cheaper than store bought versions and I can tailor the spices to my family's preferences. It really does add an extra depth of flavor to many dishes.

A great pantry staple
Perfect staple for throwing into soups and stews. It does take time for them to hydrate. Sometimes I snack on them dried.

Tasty and great textures
These are great! A wonderful variety of textures and tastes that we use in our homemade soups regularly. We eat a plant based diet so it's nice to have something "meaty" and chewy in our soups. We highly recommend these.

Wild mushrooms
Always have these in my pantry. I rehydrate them and incorporate these mushrooms into my grains-Risotto, Pearl Couscous, brown rice, Chicken Marsala, etc!

Poor quality product
Some mushrooms in the mix are so hard. No matter how long you keep them covered with boiling water and cut into tiny pieces, these pieces arenโt not chewable
