Quiet Rechargeable Cordless Mini Clippers for Dog cat pet Hair Trimmer Grooming Kit

Every long haired cat owner (especially Siberian) needs to own a pair of these ARCESS mini clippers. The stress I could have saved us both had I bought them years ago.... WHY I BOUGHT THEM: We have a Siberian cat that detests me brushing or grooming her (I have tried every kind of device, including Furminators). Plus she gets massively knotted when we go away (she misses us terribly) and over-grooms from stress. It got so bad recently that the ensuing hairballs gave her colitis. The vet wanted to sedate her and "start again", shaving out the matted fur but at a cost of £130 and probably a very unhappy cat. So we struggled at home with the pet scissors, the only comb she'll tolerate (still screeching and protesting) and her own diligence in depositing clumps and hairballs all over the house for two weeks. VET RECOMMENDED: Then, few weeks later at her regular pet check another vet produced some very quiet, small, unscary mini clippers and took out one small knot she found. No fuss. I was transfixed. Excuse me, what are THOSE??!!! "You try" she said. It was effortless. There was no struggle. No trying to claw anyone's eye out. Amazing. The vet then told me that these clippers were professional ones that costs about £130 (my heart quickly sank). "But" she adds "I bought some from Amazon and I use them on my cats at home". We looked them up....ARCESS. I bought the exact ones she had recommended when I got home. WHY I LOVE THEM: They are very small, very quiet and equally effective as the expensive professional ones I tried at a fifth of the price. The ceramic blades have the same curved ends to avoid any knicking of the skin. I bought the version that comes with different length trim guides - little plastic adapters labelled with mm lengths - that fit very precisely and easily onto the main body of the clippers. Now I can get under the knots without shearing her like a sheep! I honestly didn't think I would get away with it at home and she'd run off but these clippers are painless, don't tug at the fur and appear to cause her no stress at all. They produce a gentle little buzz that doesn't startle the cat. I give her a treat afterwards and she's perfectly happy. No more stress. Comes with a USB charge cable and 4 optional lengths to trim at 3, 6, 9 and 12mm (or can use the clippers without and trim close to the skin). Myself I am not that brave and thought the guides were a brilliant adaptation.

I first bought these clippers 3 years ago and I loved them so much I ended up buying 2 spares as a back up. I'm onto my last pair now due to eventual blade blunting. They are very very quiet and trim really well. I use them mainly to clip for IVs and let people borrow them for nervous animals. The battery charge lasts literally for months even when I occassionally use them for bigger jobs (clipping faces and other sensitive areas and surgical sites pre op on smaller patients) and when you do need to charge them it doesn't take long at all. Quite a few of my colleagues have ended up buying them after trying mine. They are quite easy to clean as you can remove the blade to clean inside and there aren't really places that stuff can get stuck. My only gripes are that you can't buy replacement blades for them so once the blade blunts you have to get a whole new pair. And also that the price has gone up substantially since I first bought them they are no longer as affordable for me as they were.

I used to use a Wahl professional trimmer for my miniature Schnauzer, but it took two of us to manage trimming a small mat out of my long haired cat's fur using the old Wahl. (She's been hand-shy since I got her, and although I'm training her to be brushed daily she still won't let me brush under her belly yet so she sometimes get's matted there.) Since I bought this small portable ARCESS trimmer things have been a lot easier. It's so quiet and so effective at cleanly cutting fur that I can sort out a small mat in about 10 seconds on my own. Easy for me and **much** less stress for my gorgeous little cat! In terms of general trimming it's a little bit small to do a full trim of a mini Schnauzer (I would use a bigger trimmer for that) but it is perfect for trimming small areas. For instance - some dogs need their "butt" area trimmed more often that at a regular groom to help them keep clean; it would be great for ears and finer work grooming dogs; and it's the least stressful trimmer I've ever used for a cat because it's very effective and very quiet. Overall - it's brilliant - really worth getting one.

I ordered these clippers for use at work. As a veterinary nurse clipping patients for IVs frequently features in my day and the constant hunt for disappearing portable clippers was a pain in the backside. I really wanted something small, quiet, cordless and able to hold charge well for usage. These tick all those boxes. They fit into my pockets so nicely and weight next to nothing! The very quiet clipping sound is a blessing for when I'm working with cats or nervous animals who are very sensitive to loud buzzing, as well as harsh mechanical vibrations, so I was very happy about their overall performance in that respect. The cordless feature gives me great freedom to roam and the charge means I can use it throughout the day. I rarely need to charge it and even when I do, usually after I get home from work, it powers up quickly to be ready for use again. I need them to be able to cut particularly close in order to get through fur to place a venous catheter in my patients and these really do a good job - probably get down to 1-2 mm or less of hair which is ideal. Also, with the guide combs I have been able to shave away excess feathering or tangles in particularly fluffy animals, a definite bonus. Having a detachable blade makes cleaning and maintenance very easy, especially as I am always conscious of infection control so being able to disinfect them and brush out the blades is very useful. Oil can't be sent with this product as a result of shipping regulations but this didn't bother me as I have access to blade oil at work to keep them in good condition. The only downside to my order was that they did arrive without the guide combs in the box - however, this was not a real issue as I contacted the seller who promptly sent them on and the delivery time on the clippers and combs was surprisingly fast considering the distance they had to travel. I was very happy with their service, the delivery and the product in particular. Very decent price, good quality. My colleagues have often complimented them so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few more pairs of cute clippers circulating the practice in the future!

We bought this item because our elderly Maincoon cat hates being brushed or groomed and because she has trouble grooming herself she suffers from matting and hair clumping. Our usual solution was to carefuly snip the matts off with scisors which was very stressful for all concerned. This trimmer is fantastic at nibbling off any mats as they form. We end up cutting less of her hair off and she is totally relaxed while we do it. It is very quiet and is a brilliant tool. Many thanks.

I bought these for clipping the hair on my Yorkies noses between their eyes. They are super quiet and not a lot of vibration, my dogs didn't even flinch getting close to their eyes. They are easy to hold and fit nicely into my hand. They do appear a little cheap being made of plastic and you cannot remove the blade for cleaning, although you do get a little brush. Also there was no oil in my pack, not sure if there should have been but there did seem to be a place for it in the moulded box insert. The combs are very easy to attach and remove. It comes with a charging plug, USB cable and a 2 pin plug. I was a bit disappointed it did not have a blade protector. All in all it is a nice little clipper, quiet, easy to use and does not frighten my dogs. It's not getting heavy wear and tear so I am expecting it to last some time.

This is easy enough to use. However, my cat has some large knots in his fur and it's not really powerful enough to deal with these, it took ages to gradually whittle away at them, so it's probably only best if you want to use it as a grooming set of clippers, rather than sorting out problems after they've occurred.

Utilisée assez régulièrement depuis 1,5 mois et fonctionne toujours aussi bien. Très faible niveau sonore (ne fait en général pas peur aux chats) et bonne précision. A éviter sur les poils trop épais ou très sales cependant.

Su animali di piccola taglia è perfetta. Leggera. La batteria dura molto anche se l'uso è intenso.

Tondeuse géniale, parfaite prise en main par sa petite taille, idéale pour une tonte fréquente. Coupe super bien et sécurisée. Le bruit est minime et ne fait pas du tout peur à mon chien. L'autonomie est top aussi une fois bien rechargée. Je recommande vivement et espère que ce produit reviendra.
