As a lactose intolerant person trying to lose weight, I can't tell you how happy I was to discover this product. I put a scoop of this in my overnight oats before I eat, great way to sneak protein into a meal. I want to try this with my morning coffee too. THIS REVIEW COVERS THE MOCHA FLAVOR: I have tried Chocolate, Banana Nut Bread, Vanilla, and Mocha. I have not tried unflavored, but based on several other reviews, I have no intention to. THE POWDER: Its a very fine consistency like baking flour. I add it to cold water and ice and occasionally add blueberries, or cocoa power for an extra kick. I use a Nutri-Bullet mixer and it mostly mixes well. Its true that the power does tend to settle at the bottom if not consumed quickly, but I have not experienced any clumping. As I reach the bottom of my shake it looks like turkish coffee (lol) so I just swirl the remaining water to help dissolve the settled powder to finish. It does not taste chalky at all. THE FLAVOR (MOCHA): Of course, each person's taste buds differ, but I really enjoy Mocha. It's not as sweet as the Banana Bread flavor, but I'm glad. The taste is not that much different than Chocolate, similar, but enough to be noticeably different. My personal favorite is Chocolate, but they never seem to have it in stock. SUMMARY: It's very difficult to find a powder that has similar protein per serving compared to whey, as well as finding one without fillers, sugars, or ingredients that are allergens or carcinogenic. I still try to search for the "PERFECT" protein powder, but still haven't found one cleaner than this for the price. I would highly recommend this product and have been a user for over a year, purchasing about monthly.

Perfect consistency and flavor, easy to mix without clumping up. Ingredients are simple and I like that, its also sweetened with Stevia so there isn't as many calories or sugar. Great if you're trying lose /cut weight, or just looking for a new type of protein for stacking, etc.

I really wanted to like this powder as it has good ingredients and a great price, however the taste is pretty bad. I tried it with water in a shaker and it was super chalky and horrible flavor so I chugged it quickly. Tried it in a shaker with almond milk and that was tolerable, but not enjoyable. Tried adding in smoothies and still had an odd taste. Found it to work best in baking, I added it to pancake batter and banana bread and that came out surprisingly well. So if you want a price effective way to make baked goods more macro friendly I would recommend this powder - any other use case, I would go elsewhere.

I’ve followed the directions, I’ve tried making smoothies, this stuff is just too thick compared to normal protein powder… I’m breastfeeding and didn’t want a long ingredient list so I went with this but now regret my decision.

The banana bread flavored pea protein is pretty good. The unflavored is absolutely disgusting. Also, beware that this powder is not easy to dissolve in water. In a shaker bottle, a good half of the powder will absorb more and more water and become one big clump at the bottom. You have to shake vigorously and drink it fast.
