How do you clean the water bowl as it’s attached to the pole?

Hi, You can take the bird feed station apart if you need remove the water bowl to clean it

Thanks keith for your reply, can you tell me does the four fins go completely into the ground.?

Its a ground spike, so yes you need to push it into ground if siting in the earth. If using a patio mount, then detach it ground spoke and place in that instead . I used a spade to push into earth , then sited

Can you leave the water tray and seed/mesh tray off when screwing the poles together? I want to avoid seagulls and larger birds landing on them ?

Yes. You don't have to use them. I might actually remove the water tray on mine because it makes a mess of the mesh tray when I clean it with a dish brush and watering can to remove the algae. I have a large bird bath about 2 m away. It is a very well build bird feeder.
