This is a super great pounder
Absolutely amazing. You can use either end depending on the mouth of the jar. I used this for packing raw vegetables into jars for water bath canning. No more space! Great material. Cleans well.

It works as designed
Solid hardwood thats fit for the task. Should give a lifetime of use as well! Fits jar openings perfectly to. Works just as well as the higher priced pounders. Nothing fancy...but who cares.

Solid Kitchen Tool — Great for Sauerkraut and Stress Relief
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This sauerkraut pounder is sturdy, smooth, and fits perfectly in Mason jars and crocks. It feels great in the hand and really speeds up fermenting prep. When kitchen chaos hits, it’s also great for taking out your frustration on the cabbage — not the kids! Solid beech wood and easy to clean.

I like it
Nice tamper
User
Great Size
The pounder is what I expected, however it has a clearcoat type of finish on it. I am going to sand it off and treat the bare wood with a food grade oil.
User
Trop court
J’aurais dû en prendre un plus grand car le dessus blesse la paume de ma mainlorsque je l’utilise.Je dois placer un linge plié en quatre pour me protéger!
