WD-40 443945 Specialist Anti Friction Dry PTFE Lubricant Smart Straw 400ml

Excellent product, had some door handles that were becoming very stiff to operate, couple of squirts of the PTFE spay and their as good as new.

Was able to fix both driver and passenger door locks on an old Ford Ka with this. Did take multiple 'coats' but with a few careful turns got it free. Been working ever since. Was wary not to use normal wd40 as it might attract dirt and moisture into the lock mech. Probably even better would be the powder lubricant but I'm thinking the lock already got wet.

...modern plastics materials. Many plastic types do not like oils and greases so a dry lubricant is the only option. The click selection of spray or nozzle allows accurate placement on the target. Whether the product is water dispersing may be open for others to comment on.

From the revered WD40 stable, this is a great PTFE lube for bicycles, locks and any surfaces where you want to reduce friction. The bendable 'smart straw' works well.

Originally got this to use on the runners of my roller lift up garage door as it always sticks and stiff to open. For years I'd been using grease to lubricate the runners which over the years has resulted in thick gunk preventing the door opening smoothly. Stripped all this off with degreaser (WD-40 brand, very good) and applied this PTFE spray. Now running nice and smooth again.Have since used on patio door track, couple of bag zips which were stiff and catching, yale lock that was stiff to use and on my estate car boot struts as they were grunting when opening, all with good results.Good price, good size tin and would recommend.

It’s for a relaxing chair and it was getting noisy when putting the foot rest out or raising the chair but since I got the spray and sprayed the joints it’s been quiet no more creaking

I bought this to treat a lock (Rim Automatic Deadlatch) which was getting sticky. I read that you should never use oil in locks because it makes them sticky and more likely to collect dust, so I tried this.I used a can of compressed air to blast the lock first in case there was any movable dust inside. Then I gave it a good spray with this. It worked really well! Before using this spray, it was difficult to get the key into the lock, and hard to turn it. It required a lot of wiggling. After use, the key goes in very smoothly and the lock turns easily. Very impressed.Note, the spray does contain solvent so when you use it be ready with paper towels to catch the dribbles that run out (both the inside and outside of the door) - I guess that might damage your paintwork if you let it sit on the paint.

I bought this as a lubricant for a carpenters vice. I wound the vice out to its limit and liberally sprayed this over the screw and the supporting slide rods. It drove off a lot of the sawdust and other contaminant from the screw which was a terrific bonus. After winding the vice open and closed a few times I can say that it is definitely moving very smoothly. After a little woodworking I think I would say that less sawdust and chips are accumulating on the screw. This lubricant is much less of a trap for debris than the grease/oils I had on there previously.I have also used this for coating saw blades and chisels as rust protection. The finish is slightly sticky though so I might stick to more of an oil next time for this application.
