This muzzle is absolutely brilliant for the purpose i bought it for, which is to prevent my little fella from scavenging on dog walks. The fit was just right, not too tight and not too loose, it looks comfortable and quite cute on him. There is a loop which can be easily adjusted on it too, which is handy for different pant sizes on your dog. I bought an XS for my mini daxie, he has quite a long snout, but this size was perfect. The overall look of the muzzle is what i wanted too. It doesn’t look aggressive, or too cumbersome, it looks cute and compact on him and is breathable and easy to clean. It takes seconds to clip on and seconds to clip off. If anyone is considering buying a custom made scavenger muzzle, (i was quoted £135 and the expectation was for me to do all the measurements myself, and once the muzzle arrived if the sizes were incorrect it was an additional £70 for alterations), maybe give this perfectly adequate muzzle a try. The beauty of amazon is that, you can order multiple sizes (which is what i did) and send back the ones that don't fit. I can’t put a price on my pooch, but this felt right and worth taking a chance that it may not work as it was an absolute bargain and i didn’t have anything to loose.

These masks are soft and durable, better than the plastic ones. Certainly cannot eat other dog poo. Will buy again.

I ordered a medium size for my Pointer which was way too big, so then ordered a small which is perfect. Stays in place and he is unable to scratch it off which is a bonus

Currently great. Easy to clip on, my 9 1/2 month old pup hasn't managed to get it off despite her best efforts and it's really helping my pup with her chewing and grab behaviour. She can grab things through it somewhat and generally move things but about 5 days in and so far has been a massive help for daily life as she's able to interact with the family more. A muzzle like this with a slightly tougher mesh would be amazing if it could be made of a light material and comfortably fit the dog as another option for specific situations other really happy with this purchase so far

Probably fine on some dogs if you specifically want them to not be able to pick things up, but sadly did not work for me. Bought to test it out but found that if the muzzle was large enough to not impede my dog opening her mouth to pant, then the edge pressed too close to her eyes. Overall I don't think there's enough space for it to be worn for any length of time and will restrict panting. As a result of returning it after checking for fit, I can't say how long lasting it is, though being soft mesh I expect some dogs might be able to damage it if they're truly intent on scavenging.Due to its purpose and design, I don't believe its really made for bite prevention, though is better than nothing, and it does make any sort of positive reinforcement training difficult as they will struggle to pick up a toy, and can't take treats while wearing it.In all, I expect it will do a fair job when it comes to preventing scavenging, as long as the dog can't tear/wear through it, but it's not much for protection or reactivity.

Perfect for our scavenger / poop eating pup to complement ‘leave it’ training. Great value for money, easy to use, our dog got used to it very quickly and it washes well.

I bought this because my dog eats things she shouldn’t and is getting ill too often. This muzzle works very well, allowing dogs to pant when hot but preventing them from eating undesirable things. My dog is veey smart (border collie) so she did manage to get it off when my back was turned but a few adjustments sorted that!

There is multiple hole after maybe 10-15 uses. I would recommend for dogs that like their sticks, they will manage to tear through the material. Probably best to stick with basket types.

Item was a little large for my dog's snout, in spite of the description with the item listing similar sized dog breeds. The connectors were better than similar muzzles, but the sizing issue made it difficult to keep it on the dog. A few pawings, a couple head shakes, and it was off. The rather defeats the purpose of a muzzle. Good quality construction, as the nylon seems built to last. Just be aware of the sizing, and pay careful attention to the description and dimensions listed.

Passt super ,unser Hund kann gut damit trinken und schützt ihn draußen da er alles frisst ,was unter seiner Nase kommt . Ideal für Hunde ,die draußen in der Natur wirklich alles fressen wollen . Ein guter Schutz.

I made the mistake of assuming an XXS was for XXS dogs. It's not. But in fairness, the Amazon page description does indicate that XXS is for dogs with a 4 1/2-6 1/4" snout.My dogs weigh 5 and 10 pounds. The 5# pictured has a snout of less than 4.5", and you can see it covers her entire face. My other dog is 10# with a 3.5" snout and almost fits, but it does inch up to his poor little eyeballs. I wish it did work because the muzzle is excellent!I only need a muzzle when I'm trimming their nails. This one would be amazing for it. The fact that it is mesh around the mouth is helpful. The adjustable straps are heavy-duty and have a nice secure clip.If the sizing is correct, this is a great muzzle.
