Great for the London marathon.
Not sure if we used it as it was designed for- we used the pole during the London marathon so our daughter could see where we were. We attached our county flag, with her name on it, and cast it over the runners. She said it was an amazing sight and really spurred her on. When travelling, we just dropped the pole down-easy. We’ll be using g it again, next year, in the Manchester marathon.

Not fit for purpose
Very poor, item split before even using it! Do not buy!

flag pole
Product is great, just make sure you place a modest size flag on it.. as a big one might be detrimental.. also, its simply common sense to bring the flag and pole down in high winds to avoid it snapping. Some very thin cable ties will help you secure your flag. Also be very careful when packing the sections away. I didnt use common sense and a couple of sections got stuck in each other. I would advise tying some string to the hoop at the top of the flag pole to help retrieve. I contacted their customer service team who were very helpful and rectified the issue in quick time

Great support for slim Jim aerial
Bought this 6m pole to hoist a slim Jim aerial for my handheld scanner. Really easy to erect and stands straight with the weight of the aerial. The top section of the pole is really thin and the eye is next to useless for my needs.I taped a rubber band around the top to hold the aerial which works well but will need something a bit more permanent I think. I've not tried it in high winds so don't know how it will fair. I held it up in a garden parasol weight For the price it is a worthy purchase
