Gorgeous story great illustrations
This will be the second time I have purchased this. A lovely gentle folk tale from India that my grandchildren love, describing how a tiger cub became a household cat. The illustrations are also lovely with an Indian gel to them to comment the story

A fun story - great teaching tool!
I have used this three years in a row with my class (aged 6-7) and they always love it. It's a fun story that lends itself well to role play, drama and retelling. My little ones especially love the surprise ending!

Arrived broken but did the job
I bought a ‘good’ copy so I was surprised to see one of the pages falling out when it arrived. Luckily, I only needed it for a week.
User
average story, pretty illustrations
bought it thinking it might be a nice odia folk tale. was not well written though, it might have been a fun story to say aloud verbally. the illustrations of a tiger were very realistic yet non scary but endearing for children.
