The claims are true. This lip stain really works and really lasts. The only thing I don't like about it is it is a bluer red than I would like. Wish they had a stain that was more in the peach range. The more you leave it on the deeper it gets, but then it gets way too deep for me. Still it's a great product. It gives a solid matte cover and goes on pretty even without being gooey or sticky. It tends to dry the lips a bit, but it holds up well if you add a gloss. It does come off a bit if you brush your teeth, but it survives meals and drinks. Quite happy with this.

This continues to be my favorite lip stain. It may take a little more time because of the two-step process, but it is worth it. The color lasts longer than other stains I have tried, and best of all it is far less drying than its one-step competitors. Finally, the range of colors is fabulous.

The tint is really pretty but it doesn’t hold up for long. Within an hour, maybe two if you don’t talk a lot, drink anything, or touch your lips, the color fades into a line around your lips like a cheap lipstick. To reapply, you need to take some time to let the product set again. You’re better off getting a tinted lip oil.

It stains quickly. I wiped off after 30 seconds bc it looked so bright. went to bed, and color stayed til next day. One pic is night before, one pic is day after.Color doesn't really match the description photos. It's a bright orangey red. Color ordered was Glamorous.

This lip-stain is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful colors, great durability. I refused to wear lipstick in the past because I didn't like how accidentally transferable it can be (into a napkin, drinking glass, etc) This is a game - changer. I'm not good at make up, and I don't have any desire to wear makeup that is high maintenance, in terms of reapplication or any messiness or inconvenience at all. I'm basically just wanted a lip-stain that will look nice and stay put all day. This is it. A few notes. If you're like me, practice at least one before going anywhere. If you apply a line that looks a little crooked (the product can get a bit thick after a few uses do to air exposure, it's still great, but precision is key) make sure to correct it quickly. I recommend using a q tip. If you panic and use the tip of your finger, then you'll have people checking on you if you're bleeding the rest of the day. That's a bit of an exaggeration really, each time you wash your hands it'll fade a bit, bit I like to wait til right before I walk out of the house to do a final layer. You do have to wait until the layer of blue dried completely before removing for the color reveal. It's definitely buildable in terms of intensity. If you're not like me, and you have a steady hand and some experience, you'll probably have a smooth experience from the start. I'm deducting a star not because I don't absolutely love the product, but because it does tend to dry out a bit even when the container is completely closed. I think they need to change the design a bit, possibly add a rubber layer between the applicator and body of it, to compress when closed to create an air tight seal. This wouldn't bother me so much if the price point was lower, but I do find myself purchasing much more often then I'd like, due to the product drying out. I may start wrapping mine in a layer of Press N Seal when not in use. (Absolutely never accidentally leave it your vehicle console on a hot day, it'll be bone dry) I have had a little luck putting a few drops of alcohol, or water on a slightly gummy applicator -it gets gummy when it dries out) to get a few more uses - but be careful! The same problem in the design that causes air to get in, also will cause a completely liquid additive to leak out a bit around the seam that isn't air tight, so just have a paper towel nearby and check your hands for any staining - the quicker you wash them the better. I highly recommend exfoliating your lips first. If you have dry or chapped lips, it will cling to those areas more, and as your color fades throughout the day, the dry spots that pick up more color fade slower, so it's not an ideal situation - but I quick fix for this in a pinch is just to have a backup lip color (pigmented moisturizer type of lipstick) and you can rub a light layer on to help disguise the dry skin that's pigmented - which draws attention to it. Because this is a lip-stain - if the dry lip situation happens, you can't just rub the color off the dry skin parts, you gotta either scrub it off, disguise it or wait it out. The spray product that comes with it is great, but you don't need it. A damp paper towel will do. 2 last notes - double check your inner lip area and corners when removing the blue layer, if you're in a hurry that can be easy to overlook, and if it gets in your mouth, you might get an odd look or two if it makes it into your teeth. Second - make sure when removing, whether using a damp clothes or the spray, that you quickly clean away any of the liquid that comes in contact with the skin around your lips, or you'll look like a messy kid that's been drinking Kool aid. Overall - great product, please upgrade the the container design!

This was my first time trying the wonderskin stain and I was nervous it would bleed. I was very careful for the first application. I received compliments on the color and it lasted through a whole lunch with friends. It didn’t feel dry. It is difficult to remove if you get it on your hands or beyond your lip line.

this is kind of a novelty product for me but i do enjoy it! it dries very fast, its decently thick but not uncomfortable, doesnt smudge once it dries and seems to tint the lips for a whole day, the colour i got was like my own lips but more even and bright, the application is easy and the quality is good. my only complaint would be the tingle it kind of gives as you apply it, but i still like the product enough to give it five stars!

Looked like I had popsicle and made a mess. Patchy and dried lips. Faded in an hour. Waste of money.

I was really excited to try this lip tint, but sadly was left extremely disappointed from the moment I unscrewed the lid. It was extremely gloopy. Not deterred by the gloop, I applied it to my lips. You have to be extremely careful at this stage because outlining lips isn't as easy as the advertising of this product makes out and if you get it even the slightest wrong place, it'll tint that area immediately. Anyway, after reading so many reviews, I decided to leave the purple gloop on my lips a good 2 minutes. The purple gloop came off easily with a damp tissue but I noticed the tint wasn't as even as I would have liked, so applied the gloop for a second time and again for another 2 minutes. This second application proved to be a success! Unfortunately, an hour later and after a cappuccino at our local cafe, most of the tint was gone leaving nothing more than a thick outline which looked stupid. IT IS NOT LONG LASTING! I wouldn't recommend this very expensive lip tint to anyone. Mine has now been binned and I'm back to using my 2 step Infinity lip stick with lip gloss which really does last more than 24 hours without all the gloop, the fuss and without having to reapply or worry about staining everything in sight.
