Does this item really weigh ‎10.5 ounces?

It probably and really does but if so, eh, I didn't much pay attention to how much the case itself weighed because the Surface Pro 9 isn't exactly a lightweight all by itself. I was more concerned about how it would fit on my Surface Pro 9.

Anyone bought a carry bag/pouch that fits after this case has been installed?

Yes, I bought this "TOPHOME Business Office Bag Laptop Sleeve Tablet Bag Briefcase Bag Genuine Leather Bag Laptop Protective Case Compatible with Microsoft Surface Laptop"" prior to the Surface Pro 9 I have. I used it for my Surface Pro 4 with a bulkier case. I fit the power cord and a Surface foldable mouse in the pouch. I have had the pouch for over 5 years.
