Lives up to the monster high legacy, but the focus has shifted
This was my first soujourn into “g3” monster high. Being a collector of the original dolls, I had a lot to think about these. First, I’m so glad there’s more body variance in this line, and each one coming with cute food also normalised actual teenage bodies, and healthy relationships with eating. The build quality is great, the hair is not quite as nice as they used to be. Feels more nylony, and there’s a lot of reliance on moulded plastic “shell” accessories. Very unique, but feels more like snap on armour than fashion. All in all, she stands half a head taller than her fellow students, had a cute face, the horns are interesting, and it’s a great doll. Wish they still came with stories and hair brushes. This girl needed it!
