Great Value, Great Product
I really love this supplement so far. It is a really good value and it's very easy to take. This is a large bottle with 180 capsules. The recommended dose is one capsule, once daily with a glass of water. I am really happy that I don't have to purchase more for 180 days. I have been taking it in the evening because I find it to be relaxing and helpful for sleep. It is a flavonoid found in many different fruits, vegetables and herbs including chamomile. The presence of apigenin is precisely why chamomile is so relaxing. It (apigenin) actually binds to the benzodiazepine receptors in our brains, thereby inducing relaxation. It has been studied in both human and animal models for multiple different therapeutic areas and has shown promise in all of which were studied. I am taking it for both general health and to improve my sleep quality. Thus far, it has been helping with the latter. I haven't been taking it long enough to see benefits of the former but I trust this brand based on my impressions so far. This is produced in a GMP facility meaning they follow strict quality control standards and procedures to ensure we are getting a safe, accurate product, similar to the way regular pharmaceuticals are produced. They also don't use a ton of additives, just magnesium stearate, which I would prefer to not be in there, but I am not sensitive to it. Overall, you can't beat the price of this product, around $20 for a 6 months supply of a good quality apigenin. Most of the competitors either have less active ingredient per capsule or less capsules for more or the same amount of money.

Antioxidant & antiviral effects
I have been taking one of these every morning on an empty stomach. I have not had any negative side effects. Bottle had safety packaging on it and none of the capsules were broken or sticking together. This is something that i take because i believe "it's good for me"... not because i expect to experience noticeable results... so it's hard to review. It could be helping me, or might not be. But again, it hasn't caused me any problems. Here are some of the reasons i believe this could be good for me to take: *apigenin is a flavenoid (or group of flavenoids?) that are naturally occurring, and that we can otherwise obtain through our diet-- especially through chamomile tea. *flavenoids decrease free radicals, are antioxidants, and can have anti inflammatory and antiviral effects *apigenin can reduce the release of cytokines, which can overproduce and lead to disease *apigenin can be cognitive- enhancing because of the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as a study with mice with Alzheimer's indicated that apigenin improved memory and learning deficits *one study indicated that apigenin improved impaired glucose tolerance and significantly decreased Insulin Resistance *apigenin has been shown to reduce cortisol levels, which can ease anxiety *apigenin has exhibited cell growth arrest and apoptosis in many types of tumors, and is anti cancer research is exploring how it plays a role in several cancer signaling pathways *apigenin inhibits CD38, which can lead to the effect of one's NAD+ levels being doubled. This is a critical coenzyme that is found in every cell of the body but naturally decreases with age.

No filler? I taste starch.
I have a habit of tasting the contents of pills, and the powder in these capsules has the taste of rice or another grain filler. I would also like to know the source of the Apigenin, either chamomile or parsley, as popular sources, and I can’t tell from the taste whether it’s sourced from either. On the plus side, I appreciate that this is made in a USA GMP facility, and the 180 capsules for a 60-month supply are filled to the top of the bottle, reducing packaging waste. It also comes with a complementary travel pill case. Apigenin helps lower our levels of CD38, an enzyme that degrades NAD, and the levels tend to build up in the body as we get older. It is also anti-inflammatory with high antioxidant activity, while it may also help with anti-anxiety with sedative effects that contribute to better sleep. I also learned years ago that it is a little-known NAD booster, great to combine with other NAD-boosting compounds, such as Nicotinamide Riboside or NMHH, to prevent NAD degradation. Although the label shows only vegetable cellulose capsules and magnesium stearate used for 100mg Apigenin capsules, I’m having trouble believing the label and need to see third-party testing to confirm the apigenin purity and content because I’m tasting starch of some sort in the powder.

Didn't work for sleep
Doesn't seem to do anything to me, but it could just be me, regular chamomile leaf extract puts me to sleep quickly.

Fingers crossed
So far I’m liking this Apegenin! I am totally a Freshman when it comes to this supplement. I’d actually never even heard of it, but I read some reviews and decided to try it for helping me with sleep. If you’re like me, sleep is not easy to get when you can’t relax and shut your mind off. I also researched Apegenin on a bunch of highly regarded medical websites and I was impressed with the amount of research that has gone into this. I had to give it about four days until I felt it was working, I actually took two for those first days, but I always started with one and took the second after an hour. On the fifth day and since I’ve been taking one and it’s working really well. Not sure why, but all,I care about is that I relax enough and fall asleep and stay asleep. I’d definitely recommend trying it if some of the other options(I.e., Melatonin, Aswaghanda, etc.) aren’t working for you. I only take supplements that are manufactured in the US and this one is. Another positive is the amount in the bottle.six months! It’s a great deal, only if it works, and it does for me.

Good Supplement for Apigenin
Apigenin is a flavone, which is one of the members of the flavonoid family. Flavonoids are known to have great antioxidant properties, as well as being free radical scavengers. Basically, they are good for your long term health, and can help fight against diseases and keep our bodies functioning well. One of the main sources of apigenin is chamomile. I am not a tea drinker, but fortunately you can also get them in supplement form. Pros - - USA made and lab tested so you can be confident in the quality and purity of the product - 180 capsules per bottle. At 1 per day, this gives you a 180 day supply so you are not constantly reordering - Many health benefits including the calming effect associated with chamomile tea - I did not experience any negative effects - Easy to swallow caplets Cons - - In the time I have taken them I have not identified any negatives that would keep me from taking them

Powerful flavonoid
Apigenin is a powerful flavonoid that is found in chamomile and many other plants. It has many health benefits including being a free-radical scavenger, plus antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It may help with inflammation & pain, support heart health, ease anxiety & depression, and reduce cancer risks. These capsules are about regular in size and pretty easy to swallow. Just one capsule per day. This comes in an opaque plastic bottle with the lid, double-sealed for protection. This is a 180-day supply. A bonus little pill case is included, which is a nice touch. Lab-tested and vegetarian-friendly. Made in USA. Overall, this seems like a good supplement. Only time will tell how good it is. For about $0.13 per serving, it is a pretty good value for the money. I'm giving it a try. Promising so far. 4 stars for now.

Still on the fence, US company, seems to be reputable
The Apigenin came completely sealed and the product is fresh. When I took it right before bed I don't think it assisted my sleep and it gave me a lot of really weird dreams. So, if this is a product that requires time to work, I'll have to stay neutral at this point. I did research the company, worried about who they are and their quality control. It appears they're a US company in Florida with a half decent reputation. I researched consumer satisfaction with some of their other products and found that many of their reviews are very positive. But, independent auditors that have researched the company say the products are what they say they are but have somewhat misleading dosage statements in some cases. But overall, they say their products hold to a decent quality standard. So, I believe it's safe to try.
