Description

The Realm valves set consists of a thermostatic radiator valve head , a Corner trv body and one lock-shield, giving you the neccessary radiator accessories to control the temperature in your room quickly and easily. We also provide decorators caps and full installation instructions for further convenience. The radiator valves are constructed from Brass and finished in a Black Nickel finish, ideal for a range of Vertical and Horizontal Designer Radiators (especially in dark grey, anthracite and black gloss finishes). 15mm (1/2") connections makes the valves suitable for the majority of European radiators, and ensures that they can function successfully on any UK or European central heating system Corner valve sets are most suited to situations where the central heating pipes emerge from the wall and where the radiator valve feeds are at the side of the radiator. Well made.

We fitted these to a black tall radiator so they go nicely with it in the black nickel and are well put together. As for control they are the same as every other TRV on the planet. Nothing happens from 5 down to 2.5 then then you have that tiny area where they may control a bit then then they stop the flow completely.

Nice product, but ....

Nice product but the lockshield valve does not fully shut off. This is not a problem in normal use, but a pain when fitting or changing a radiator. I bought 2 and both had the same problem so it seems to be an in-built issue.
