Detection
Very effective. My cat underwent radioactive iodine treatment, and I needed to protect myself. It's accurate and quick to detect. All my cat had to do was walk by or stand for any period of time. period of time.

Good for the price.
I was fortunate enough to get the original legit version. Features the J321 GM Tube. Detects the radiation in my smoke detector VERY well when firmware upgraded (Americium-241 Alpha, It's not designed to detect Alpha reliably... but upgraded definitely lets you know of it's presence) . Stock product does not have clicks. If you get the original version, it's good for the little money you pay. Upgraded mine with custom firmware and now got clicks and higher detection rate.

Item is ok but room for improvement
Item is ok. Improvements can be made so a sound go off alerting if getting close to dangerous conditions. As this item remains silent.

Gives readings way below actual radiation levels, therefore may be dangerous to trust the readings.
Returned for a refund after comparing it with a friend's proper Geiger -muller tester, this one gave stupidly low results compared to actual radiatin, so is not only rubbish at the job, but could lead one to get a higher radiation dose than expected because of the bad readings which were way lower than actual radiation levels. Avoid, spend the bigger money on a proper grown up version!

It doesn't work for long .
Worked for 4 or 5 days then packed up , permanent red light on , tried recharging but it no long works, Currently in the process of returning it .

It literally FRIED(never turns on anymore) after touristing MINOR radiation hotspots

Seems good.
No way to tell if it's accurate. But the radiation levels do change over time. So far the radiation levels are low.

Good radiation meter
Works effectively as a radiation detector. Have used to check in house and surrounding areas around home and office. Helps keep peace of mind. Low battery consumption.

It works!
I bought this partly for curiosity, and partly to do some testing for my son's nuclear energy science fair project. I had a fancy one of these a while back, and never really saw much happen on the screen other than normal background radiation and a small jump when held up to a highway rock cut. This unit was a much better value, has a cool graph display, and we were thrilled upon taking it with us on a tour of a nuclear power facility. They had a hunk of uranium ore on display, and the unit jumped up to about 320 CPM, as opposed to the normal 15-30 we had been seeing everywhere else. Pretty cool to see, and very exciting for my son. Winner!

Parece que es un clon del equipo FNIRSI GC-01, no se le encuentra la marca original impresa en el equipo ni en el empaque, la tarjeta electrónica es diferente a la mostrada en las fotos de la página del fabricante original, la batería no corresponde a la capacidad indicada por el fabricante de 1100 mAh, internamente trae una de solo 500 mAh, no cuenta con buzzer, el elemento detector de radiación ni siquiera está en una base, solo está pegado con cinta adhesiva
