2 x Ultrasonic Car Animal/Deer Warning Whistles auto safety alert device black

I've always fitted these to every vehicle and for the price, why wouldn't you? Haven't hit any deer. You do need to clean the area (wing mirrors in my case) carefully before you stick them on or you're just sticking to the dirt and they will come off. Clean first and you'll be fine for years. Round open end facing forward and pointed bit to the back. Loads of people ask me what they are - most think they're security devices of some sort.

What can I say. Bought them prior to a fishing trip to the highlands of Scotland. No problem with adhesion. I cleaned the place where they were placed thoroughly before sticking them on. Travelled over 700 miles on the trip and they are still in place. Lots of deer sighted but none injured during the trip.

It’s impossible to guarantee that these whistles work but I have not experienced a deer jumping out of the woods or scrubland in front of my car since fitting. That may be a coincidence but I’m hoping this is as a result of attaching these whistles, as sadly too many deer are killed on our local roads, in this forested area.

Since I installed this onto my front bumper of my car I haven't had any worries about driving through Sherwood forest. That's saying a lot as a few years ago driving home from work a deer ran in front of my car, landed on my bonnet and disappeared into the forest. He wrote of my car but that was the least of my worries, I contacted the park ranger who sent out his team to look for the injured/ dead deer and nothing..... He told me that deer are very robust and that the chances are that he was only stunned by the impact and ran off after, but, I still have nightmares thinking I might be responsible for killing an animal, hence the gadget I hope it works !!!!

Very good product but the adhesive needs to seriously looked at as on the first day i lost one on route to work and i live in deer countryside . I brought these for me and my wifes cars so a little disappointed to say the least

I previously purchased a set of these for my husbands vehicle and they are still attached and I guess they work - haven't run any animals over, have seen a few run back in opposite direction - unfortunately the second pair I purchased for my new car: were useless within a few weeks, one fell off after the front part disappeared. then the second one fell apart front piece missing, I had to remove the remaining part as it seems pointless without the whistle, perhaps I got a bad batch - I may try with another set as they are very reasonably priced.

Excellent value for money if nothing else its peace of mind,I did see reviews of it not sticking properly but I've not had a problem, thou there are 2 in the pack I've only stuck the one,one for a spare.....have no idea if it stops deers etc,where i live there a fair few and whilst I've only seen a couple whilst driving I've only ever had one run in front of me .....hence buying this !!

Comes apart very easily, a bumpy road or pothole would probably pull it apart. Sticky pad on the bottom is also useless. Smooth metal bumper, cleaned with 99.9% alcohol, both parts warmed with a hairdryer, stuck on. Left it for a couple of hours and gave it a flick and came straight off. Amazon refunded and it's gone in the bin
