How opaque is the matte? Also how many layers of coloured pencil can you get?

You can still see through it to trace an image . If you layer lightly you can get many layers into it . But you can also draw/colour on the reverse . I've drawn a tiger and several German shepherd dogs on it with excellent results

Can you print on this film?

I use this to draw with coloured pencils. Never tried printing on it
