Metallised films are produced from polymer film layers coated with a thin layer of metal ions such as aluminum, nickel and chromium. Amazon currently requires that we place all our bags in a second plastic bag. Double bagging is a common Amazon requirement, and we are proud that only one of our bags is plastic, rather than having plastic packaging which is then wrapped in more plastic.
