An excellent tent for a couple or a couple and one toddler.
I sold tents for years and this is my favourite so far. After much research I bought this tent because of the design features. 1. There is a rare overhaning porch - meaning you can leave the door open in heavy rain and the door itself is sheltered. You can put on boots in the sheltered spot. 2. Blackout fabric. Oh boy, this is a big one. We have a two year old and for a first time ever mummy and daddy got to sleap in. The blackout fabric isnt perfect but it does what its meant too. Also allows for having a hundred watt light bulb in the porch and not waking the tyrant. 3. Complete sown in groundsheet. This covers the entire footprint of the tent so no bugs can get in. iots also fairly draft proof so its a bit warmer in cold weather. Of course this affects condensation but I like the fact the the beasties - including mice - cant get in. 4. Other features; Awesome tablet sized shelving. Power slot for electricary coming in. Windows and blinds. Good ventilation at the back. 5. Excellent pole sleeves make for easy assembly. The tent goes up a dream. Fast and stress free. The hardest part of this in a normal tent is the sleeves which catch the poles and tangle. The sleeves on this tent allow the poles to slip right through without too much resistance. This makes a big different. The cons are as follows: The orange tabs which stop the zips at specific points need to be snipped so that you can take power into the interior of the tent(assuming you know how to be safe). The divider between the two compartment is hard to fit in the dark - which it will be because its blackout. Waterproofing above the windows is not as good as it could be or as good as its stated (4500hh?).

The perfect tent in every way!
This tent is amazing....Used it this weekend at a family camp out / birthday party and I had a line of interested mums and dads checking out the bedrooms. My top 10 favourites about this tent. 1) The blackout bedrooms are fabulous and they really do work. This is a game changer compared to our last tent and it is completely dark even in the bright morning sun. Excellent for the kids and the parents who really needed a lay in after a late night! 2) Great size, decent living space, good head height. 3) Easy to set up - 2 people, 20 mins max, Colour coded poles - and most impressively no arguments! 4) The door is very clever, it has a simple porch that protects from the rain and the front folds down flat so its easy to sweep out! 5) Solid and sturdy - we used this last weekend and had the usual British mix of rain, wind and sunshine. This tent dealt with it all with ease. 6) The bedroom - as well as being extremely dark, you can also let in light by adjusting the vents in the door. The bedroom comes with a divider so it can be one big room or two separate cabins 7) Pockets for storage - these run down the front of the bedroom and there are 6 or 7 of them. Perfect for small items (especially sunglasses!) 8) Large windows (but with curtains for privacy as on one side someone had parked very close) and mesh on the front door. 9) Decent packaged size (not too big or heavy) and it actually went back in to the bag afterwards 10) Lantern clips - plenty of clips to hang up a lantern (you will need one in the bedroom). Our youngest insisted on going to sleep with the lantern on. We love this tent!

Not great, not terrible. Good for fair weather.
Nice and easy to setup, very large, plenty of vents and zips. Did have some harsh wind for 2 out of the 6 nights we camped, and sadly it's torn holes in 3 places where tabs attached to the main compartment, and one or back for the air vent. Plenty of storage. The blackout system works, as it is genuinely nice and cool during the day.

Roomy space for one woman and her dogs
I go camping with two dogs so I needed a sewn in groundsheet and preferably a large enough bedroom for my double blow up mattress and their beds. This proved just perfect. I question 5 men sleeping comfortably but it worked for us. The blackout bedrooms were lovely, slept till 10am one morning! Due to time constraints I didn't practice beforehand, didn't even take it out of the bag. I did however watch the video for the order of doing things. I took my old pegs and spare guy ropes just in case. I used my pegs as they had better grip than the standard metal type supplied. I managed to get it up in just under an hour on my own with no issues at all. That hour was arrival to being moved in for the week, mattress blown up and bed made. Not bad for a first time I thought, even with the dogs trying to 'help'. I didn't opt for two bedrooms just took out the divider to have one room for all of us. I don't think my mattress would have fitted in just one room anyway. The only hiccup I had during the week was a tear in the porch along the pole stitching that extended into the fabric. Nothing to affect the structure and easily mended. I suspect dogs running into the guy rope was the culprit. To aid visibility at night I threaded a thin solar light rope around the upper guy points. Worked a treat. A gazebo as an additional porch and a very comfortable stay despite heat and storm.

Overall it's a good tent with nice space for a family of three if it doesn't rain
I got the tent recently and had a chance to use it for two rainy days. Setup was a bit hard for me and took me more than 30 minutes. Overall it's a good tent with nice space for a family of three. If it's raining outside and you have to use a chair on the porch, I'd recommend you put on a carpet so the chairs don't poke holes in the floor. Pros: - The blackout bedroom is really nice for kids. - Spacious porch that fits 4 people and a table. - The floor doesn't leak at all during heavy rain. There was plenty of water underneath the floor and it felt like walking on a water bed, but the floor didn't leak at all. Cons: - The blackout bedroom isn't really 5 degrees colder during day. - Poor ventilation with all vents and windows open. - Difficult to pitch. - It appears that one of the taped seams above the bedroom is defective. It started dripping after 40 minutes of rain - all other seams did not drip after a full night of rain and even a downpour. Update: Upon second use, all taped seams peeled and now the tent is leaking even on light rain.

Great tent
We used this for camping in the woods over a long weekend. Practiced at home first setting it up. It's possible for one person to setup I attached the guy lines to the front to hold that in place while lifting the back section then securing that with the guy lines. Diagram instructions are on a flexible plastic sheet attached to the bag. I brought a rubber mallet to knock in the stakes and the ground was quite stony so this was useful. As the floor was rough I used plastic sheet to protect the bottom of the tent against damage. The tent had plenty of room for 2 bigguns, a medium and a small person all on inflatable mattresses. The blackout sleeping section worked really well, it was a real shock to open the zip and see the daylight. Still woken by the birds though :-). The living section had plenty of room for belongings and because the sleeping area was shoes off no leaves made it in there and no bugs either as we kept it zipped up when not in use. Had some light rain with no issues but will update this review when have more serious weather experience. So far, loving this tent and pleased with the purchase. The tent

Great tent... when its not raining
The first outing in this tent was 5 days in Cornwall for the two of us. It was brilliant, easy to put up and plenty of pockets to store items. The blackout feauture is especially useful allowing my Fiance to do what she does best, sleep in. However the 2nd trip was a boozy weekend in the peaks with some friends and it rained, all night. The next morning I woke up to find my phone sat in a puddle of water and everything was soaked. Not what I wanted with a sore head! I've just set it up in the garden to dry it our and washed it well with the hose, turns out some of the seams let in water above the bedroom. I'm going to get try some seam tape and nixwax as I don't want the hassle of sending it back but its not what you expect for a tent of this price!!! I thought Coleman where meant to be one one of the best! My £90 Vango has survived numerous wet festivals and high winds yet it hasn't skipped a beat. This failed after 2 uses, VERY DISSAPOINTED! Edit: I have since spoken to customer support and without any argument they are sending me a replacement. Lets hope this one is ok! But, 5* service from amaxon. Edit 2: AVOID THIS TENT! I had my replacement and this was also faulty and I am still pending my full refund from amazon. Not best pleased.

Sturdy, watertight and one person can erect!
The material is good quality and the poles are really thick and sturdy. Used the tent for three years in exposed windy site near Lands End and it has stood the test of some really strong winds. Likewise rain. No leaks whatsoever! Nice big windows. The little canopy is really useful for keeping rain out with door open. Blackout bedroom is amazing and really does keep cooler in the day and warmer at night. easily stand up and walk around.. One person can erect it. Put all poles in first. Tie back end down. Unzip front door and gradually pull the whole tent forward and adjust... Easy. Amazingly compact when folded. Worth buying heavy duty tent pegs!

Nice tent
Bought this to go camping. Setting up is a little tricky alone, but I managed it. Water proof. Love the dark room that will fit a queen mattress and a little table. Screened in porch is awesome when the bugs threaten to carry you away. This tent has to be staked down in order to use it. It’s not self standing. I knew that when I bought it, so with that being said it did what it was suppose to do. I have 3 Coleman tents, and this one ranks right up there with the others. The black out room is what makes it stand out. Can sleep a little longer in the morning.
