Having been an Outdoor pursuits type trainer for many years I have unfortunately come across a whole range of head injuries that arise generally from the lack of head protection or indeed when not worn correctly. Having four children it can sometimes be quite hard to provide for them all. This company offer a great service which explains sizes and fits required to suit each head type, the internet is also awash with various sources that can offer support in the correct fitting and wearing. The helmet is made from high quality materials and the padding is sufficient to ensure comfort and safety for the wearer, the strap is of the three point design and the helmets have met the stringent standards set. These helmets are great for activities where a fall is possible and protect the sensitive areas of the head and neck whilst offering no obstruction to the face and ears. The helmets are by no means light but this adds to the sense of protection that is sometimes missing from the cheaper variety's. The price is relatively cheap for a safety helmet but the features provided are sound, the design is strong and the addition of spares provided is a bonus. Generally I will only use a helmet for a season, two at a stretch and I will never use a helmet that has been involved in a fall, even if there is no visible damage. 5 Stars.....

A classic design which is light and comfortable and fits true to size. Wall for skateboarding and indoor snowboarding with no complaints whatsoever.

I chose this for the price, the easy sizings and I knew it would be more about safety than the look (which would be more important later). It's comfortable, and although I hated the thought of wearing a huge helmet, along with all of the protective pads (i'm playing roller derby), but I found I didn't even notice I was wearing it and it doesn't even look big! One problem I had (which really was my fault) was that the rubber band that holds the straps underneath the chin came loose, due to my constant tugging when I wasn't doing anything. I tried to pull a transition, fell and the helmet pushed forward right before my head hit the floor. The first aiders said my hairstyle; a plait, protected my head from the worst. I like this helmet and I can't imagine replacing it any time soon, perfect beginner's helmet!

I wanted a clean looking helmet and wanted it to match the orange bits on my bike Plus I'm Dutch originally so yeah,.... Orange. It's a great looking helmet and get lots of copliments. It's slightly on the heavy side but it's sturdy. I think it's comfortable. I stated using this in the cold weather and quickly patched up the holes as you get a cold stream of air channeled in which gave me headaches. Now that it has warmed up I opend then back up again and they do a decent job of cooling but this helmet is warmer than those with many holes (not a surprise) Overall I really like it and it seems to have been well made. Go have a smaller than average head and for me it's a great fit. I would recommend

The item does not appear exactly as advertised. It still works for what I need but is not perfect at all.

I was slightly concerned before buying this that most people were buying this for children. However as an adult woman, I measured my head and found that the S/M should be the right size. I wanted a nice looking helmet for cycling around town on a daily basis and had searched for a while. I hate the look of most of the sporty cycling helmets on offer (I'm just going to work, not cycling the Tour de France!), and simpler looking helmets from companies like Bern tend to be quite expensive. I decided on the "Metallic Purple" as a subtle but nice looking colour. As other reviewers have pointed out the purple colour is darker in person, more of a purple/black colour with a subtle shimmer/sheen. I think it looks really good. The helmet isn't as slim/lightweight as other more pricey ones however I don't feel like it looks massive on my head as other helmets do. It feels very sturdy and I like how the round shape of it protects my whole head and not just the top. I also like that it comes with two sizes of pads that can be switched out to change the fit. I've been using it every day for a couple of weeks now and it's been great. Occasionally my head can get a bit warm/sweaty when cycling, the ventilation is OK but not fantastic. I might consider getting a lighter coloured one for summer to reflect the sun and keep my head cooler.

I bought this after a long period of deliberating over the best option for my 7 year old son. He's an unwilling cyclist and I thought a change of helmet might breathe some new life into his desire to get out there and cycle. His old helmet was a traditional one and somewhat boring whilst this one looked a little more trendy. On opening the box I was dismayed at what looked like a very big helmet but I'd measured his head and ordered exactly to the sizing listed, so I just crossed my fingers and left it for Santa to deliver. Christmas Day came and he was over the moon with it. I held my breath whilst he tried it on and the fit was perfect! On his head and on his bike, they both look trendy together. A great purchase and I highly recommend it. My son says he doesn't like this helmet, he loves it. I guess there's no more to say.

Es un casco robusto y cómodo. El color es como la en la foto. Compré la talla S y con las almohadillas que trae me encaja bien en la cabeza. No tiene ningún sistema para apretar el casco desde atrás como tienen otros casos. Así que si no es tu talla puede quedarte algo suelto o justo. Yo lo he comprado para ir en bici.

Farbe gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber für Mädchen toll und eine Signalfarbe. So bekamen wir unsere Tochter zum Helme-Tragen, wobei das ja eher OUT ist bei Teenagern

Ce casque est très rassurant pour les tout petits. Il protège plus de surface que d'autres modèles. Le kit de sticker pour le customiser façon casque de biker est stylé !

El precio es inmejorable, la verdad. Yo he comprado un casco "infantil" pero talla L/XL y me está de lujo. Cumple su función. La calidad es estándar, es lo mínimo que puede tener un casco, garantizar el menor daño posible en la cabeza. La verdad es que está genial. Echaba en falta otros colores pero bueno, para lo que es.... Yo lo uso para un patinete eléctrico.
