Skandika Waterproof Copenhagen Unisex Outdoor Dome Tent
Product ID: 99356359
The COPENHAGEN is a top of the range dome tent for families and groups of up to 8 people. It is extremely simple to pitch and at the same time offers high stability and great weather protection. The COPENHAGEN has a bright and friendly feeling with plenty of light thanks to its spacious living area, the three entrances and lovely big panorama windows, and the breathable tent fabric ensures a pleasant indoor climate. The large sleeping cabin is at the back of the COPENHAGEN and has two dividers so it can be used as three smaller areas, as required. The spacious living area provides plenty of space for all your camping equipment and luggage and can also be used as extra sleeping space - the sewn-in groundsheet means the whole tent is well protected from draughts and damp. The three entrances allow flexible ventilation and using the two steel upright poles included, one of the entrances can serve as a practical sunshade in warmer weather. The water column value of a tent gives information about the quality and strength of its waterproofness. A tent is considered suitably waterproof at 1200 mm. The COPENHAGEN has a water column of 5000 mm and provides very good protection from the weather. Look after your tent, so that this remains so! The COPENHAGEN poles are made of shatterproof fibreglass and are extremely sturdy and yet also flexible: a very welcome combination. The robust workmanship of the tent with tear resistant material, taped seams and reinforced eyelets and tabs make the COPENHAGEN a good investment. Included are a handy carrying bag with assembly instructions, all necessary accessories (guy ropes, tent pegs etc.) and also a repair kit - accidents do happen! Review: Great strong tent with plenty of headroom - We haven't used the tent in anger yet but have put it up in the back garden. The instructions are useless !! (the worst German translation I have ever seen), but it was all very obvious and took us about 20 minutes to erect. We still have a thin glass fibre poll which we have no idea where it goes but doesn't seem to be amiss. We are both tall and it is great that we can still stand upright right to the edges of the tent. One downside is there is no entrance for electrical hook up so the lead has to go through a doorway, also Skandika do not do carpets for their tents but luckily our existing Vango carpet fits well. The biggest bonus for us is it's potential strength compared to a standard loop pole tent, very important when touring the Outer Hebridies and 55-60MPH winds. Looking forward to putting it through the tests in Scotland next year. Review: Very nice, easy to install, but only four inflated bed - Very good tent, used only one weekend, easy to prepare and easier to restow. Didn't check with a bad weather but instead tested on a very hot summer say and I can assure the night sleep has been nice and cold. Very well ventilated, I don't think it can be used during cold day, you will freeze. Only downside, if you use inflatable bed, you can only fit four people.

Great design features.
Easy to put up, well designed, good ventilation. Withstood gusts well. Heavy and bulky to transport. Best to remove the poles and carry seperately.

Mooie tent, goede kwaliteit. Makkelijk op te zetten, al ben je er wel even mee bezig ivm het aantal stokken en de grootte van de tent.

Good tent with small children.
2 tent poles broke in sunny france on our second trip. I contacted seller, no response. Avoid. We spent 12 days in the rain and strong winds. It is perfect for a family with young children. There are not really 3 bedrooms, as the dividers are really flimsy. Our children (all under 9) were quite happy with that though! I would not recommend it with teenagers. Pro's: 1. The tent was easy to mount and dismount, it took us half an hour the first time with 2 of us and a bit of help from our 4-year old. 2. it is very high, so you can easily stand in it. 3. The package is very reasonable. Con's: 1. In rainy places, a bigger porch would have been nice, or some outside covered space. All wet shoes and boots were now in the main "living area". 2. More pockets would have been nice. I am now looking for a storage solution for the next trips. 3. The side "rooms" are not big enough for 2 people (even children), so it is at best a 5 man tent if the 2 sleeping in the side rooms are children, not an 8-man tent.

I would recommend buying extra guy ropes in case you need them ...
Well made large tent but NOT suitable for strong winds! I would recommend buying extra guy ropes in case you need them if it gets a bit blowy. Oh and not quite enough pegs supplied so get some of these too....

comfortable for 4, 6 could be a squeeze
So easy to put up! Would recommend a trial run at putting it up before going away. We did and it made all the difference when we were on holiday and trying to put it up in strong highland winds! Even with the weather it only took us 30 mins to put up. Although its a 6 man tent I think it would be a bit squashed in. There is 4 of us and by time we got everything in, it was a bit cramped but comfortable enough for a week away.

Tienda grande y comoda

Meravigliosa!
