This product works really well.It's slightly gritty and it cleans your hands of grease and oil very quickly, then easily rinses off.It has a pleasant smell.The applicator is easy to use - just squeeze a bit onto your hand. Far better than the old Swarfega in a tin, where you had to scoop some out and leave oil and muck in the tin.

Two mechanics in the house use it regularly. Cleans well but has dried hands out.

Great product! You only need a little. I was getting fed up with coming in from the garden with soil under my nails! I know wear gloves - but sometimes you forget. Well this hand wash is brilliant at removing soil from under nails and getting hands really clean.

I bought this for those times when ordinary hand wash just isn’t enough, and it does a good job of dealing with ingrained dirt and grease. The natural scrub gives it a slightly gritty texture that helps lift grime without feeling overly rough during use.The orange citrus scent is a nice change from the more traditional Swarfega smell. It’s noticeable but not overpowering, and my hands don’t have that strong cleaner odour afterwards.I like that it rinses away cleanly rather than leaving a greasy residue. The consistency feels easy to work with and a small amount goes a reasonable way. The pump style on the smaller versions is also practical as it avoids having to scoop product out of a tub.The only reason I’ve given four stars rather than five is that the scrub particles and heavy-duty feel may be more than some people need for everyday hand washing. The scent will also come down to personal preference, as it still has that recognisable workshop-style cleaner character underneath the orange notes.For cleaning up after dirty jobs, gardening or general workshop mess, this is a useful hand cleaner to have around. It feels like a good balance between serious cleaning and being comfortable to use.
