Has Made Life So Much Easier!!!
One of our cats recently developed heart problems and had to take medicine daily. He's the most nervous and easily frightened cat of the dozen or so we've had so grabbing him to squirt medicine in his mouth was incredibly difficult. And I'm sure he was terrified every time we did it. But we learned from our vet of a service called MixLabs that mix the medicine into an edible "treat". He hates taking medicine and even in treat form, he refuses to take it. We found this product and figured it was worth a shot and it has worked perfectly. We wrap the pill/treat in some of this stuff and he eats it right up. It has made ours and his life so much easier. It's basically like bacon flavored Play-Doh. You just pull out a little bit and wrap the pill or whatever in it. Make sure that the pill stays within the wrap and doesn't touch any of the exterior. Your pet will smell the meds if it touches the outside of the wrap. One trick we do is to stick a crunchy treat on the side. The pill wrap is kind of slick and it sometimes is difficult for my cat to pick up and keep in his mouth while chewing. The dry treat gives his tongue something to grip while he licks it up and chews it. And it masks the smell of the medicine even more. This stuff is kind of expensive but it's worth every penny to us. Before the pill wrap, our cat was always nervous around us and scared that we'd pick him up and squirt horrible medicine in his mouth. But now he just happily takes his medicine and isn't worried around us.

This works!
My cat would not eat a pill pocket even without the pill, so I was reluctant to try this, but was trying to avoid crushing the pill and mixing with food every time. I hate to jinx it, but so far this has been great. It's like a sticky thick paste and all you have to do is pinch out what you need and coat the pill. The flavor must be strong enough to mask the pill because my cat eats it easily. At first I split the pill in half, but now I can put in the entire pill. If you have a picky pill taker, give it a try.

Cats love this, hide a pill and something they find delicious!
This product was delivered fast, but as it turned out, the pet I ordered it for no longer needed it so I returned it. But I've ordered it in the past for a cat that had to have medicine twice a day and I was able to hide it in this stuff for months without any issues and this cat was being picky about pill pockets and was very traumatized by being forced a pill. This is a great product and I will definitely order it the next time I have a situation where I have to give a cat medicine who is ornery about it

Cat Approved! She loves it!
I have to give my cat a pill daily and was using pill pockets from another brand but my cat started to reject them after biting through to the pill a few times. I needed something that could completely conceal the pill so I decided to try this just to switch it up. Best thing Iโve done and wish I had done it sooner! The texture is semi-firm so it conceals the pill well and you can build layers. My cat takes her daily pill so easily and quickly now, no fuss! And she absolutely loves the flavor. If I donโt give her the med on time, she will remind me to give her some Vetoquinol. She goes crazy when I open the jar. Oh and thereโs NO CHICKEN for the babies with GI/allergy issues! Other details: seal was intact; product is quite oily; good size and amount of product; absolutely worth the money.

Versatile and useful, but you have to know the tricks with your picky cat.
I got this because my old cat started getting picky about her pill pockets. At first I was discouraged because she wouldnโt touch her pill after I wrapped it in this paste. But then I started breaking her favorite treats apart and stuck the pieces on top of the paste. With very few exceptions, she always takes her pill now. She takes steroids and occasionally cerenia for nausea. The cerenia is the really nasty one, so if you need to give your cat this, make sure it doesnโt touch the outside of the wrapping. Four stars for versatility and general effectiveness. I left off one star because without covering it with a treat, picky cats will still avoid this.

A Miracle for My Cats!
Well, when it rains, it pours and both my cats ended up needing to be on pills at the same time. My young cat who is 1 and will eat anything is easy enough to hide in her food. But my almost 19 year old will pick around any pill in food! When she was diagnosed with cancer and had to start a steroid i was concerned because we struggled for at least a week. It was stressful for us both trying to get the pill in her. So I came online and bought a multitude of things to try (pill pusher, pill pockets and THIS product). I'd tried pill pockets before and she was able to chew them apart and spit out the pill, so I didn't have much hope for those or this product. Not to mention she is a picky eater. HOWEVER, I tried this product first, have been using it daily for a month now and haven't needed anything else. I even started giving my young cat her pill in this because it's easier for me to ensure she eats it immediately! They both LOVE the flavor and scent which I was surprised about with my elderly girl! Also, she can NOT chew it apart to separate treat from pill. I have had to split her pill in two, however, to make sure I'm not giving her anything larger than pea sized. She seems to struggle with the texture if it's larger and can have a hard time chewing/swallowing(though my younger cat doesn't). So as tiny as possible is the trick for us. Sometimes when I put it in front of her she acts picky for a moment, but I've found that if I roll the treat in my fingers a bit to warm it up then she ALWAYS goes for it. She hasn't missed a pill since this arrived in the mail and I am truly amazed! She's so much more content with the meds in her and I'm grateful to have found this product to make it easy and stress free for both of us to give them to her. HIGHLY recommend for any cat parents out there who have experienced the trauma of trying to give their cat a pill!

This got my cat to take her medicine without stressing
I could not be happier with this pill wrap. I originally didn't try it since my girl doesn't like pill pockets but it's definitely worth trying. The strong bacon scent really helps. This jar will last a good while as well with the amount I tend to use covering her pills daily. --more info and a tip for dosing cats that dislike soft textures: My cat has anxiety, FHS, and other issues. One of the medications she takes is fluoxetine which is not at all palatable to her. We've tried so many different ways to get her to take it, but either she'd just entirely avoid it if mixed in something or she'd get even more stressed out by it being pushed on her using a pill shooter or gelatin capsule. This is the first thing we've tried that actually completely worked without any stress for her or wasted meds. She seems to like the taste of it and is drawn in by the bacon scent. She doesn't like the texture much since it's chewy and she's a crunchy treat girl. At first we stuck it to the back of one of her favorite crunchy treats and while that did work out somewhat, she would pick it up and drop it a few times before eating it because the soft texture threw her off. To avoid that, I started splitting the crunchy treat as evenly as possible, putting the pill on the inside, and pressing the other piece of treat back on. It works because the wrap is kind of sticky. It kind of looks like an ice cream sandwich at that point. Then I use broken crunchy treat bits to fill in the edges and sides as much as possible to cover that sticky, soft texture for her. It ends up looking like an irregular, slightly thicker and uneven treat at the end. She actually tends to choose that one first because the bacon scent entices her and she now happily takes her much needed medication without any additional stress. We've given other pills to her using this method and she's eaten all of them without any problems.
