Well what can I say, I am totally blown away with this habitat. I want to put my harvester colony in here but they jave decided to use another habitat I have, I do have the tubing so I will attach them together. Very heavy for such a small tank and it came with tweezers and a pipette. Great value for money, once my family have moved, I will add another photo.... Update....... Well my little family decided to move lock, stock and barrel to the tower, so now I have a happy little family of harvester ants.

Update: Seller gave me a full refund and said they will be working on improving the product so what you get might be a better working version in the near future and as the seller is great I might try and give this product another try when they fixed it. That is why I gave the product 4 stars. Does not work would be 1-2 stars depending on whether I can make it work. 3 stars for not working but getting my money back, so I can replace it or something. 4 stars for works but not perfect, small issues (they made a promise to improve it to make it work and better so that is why I chose this category for this product in my update a bit in advance but hoping to buy a better version later), 5 stars for works perfectly, no issues Original review: Not good for ants. They can easily get out of it and walk around on the inside or outside. Gave me a hard time so difficult to catch them once they are all over your desk. The holes are where the two pieces connect. That slot is too large so the ants can get out. I found them crawling all over it on the outside within minutes of putting them inside. Thankfully, I just caught a handful from the garden so I got rid of them easily but taking the whole thing outside and leaving it there. Glad I decided to test it before ordering a queen just to get my house full of ants having to call an exterminator or something. I don't even want to think about it! Terrible shock would not recommend. Get butterflies instead at least those do not bite and does not cause any infestation that needs exterminator help. Save yourself from this product and hundreds of ants moving in to your bedroom with you!

Got this for my son. Came well packaged and already assembled. Perfect for a beginner and not so small. Ants he has are thriving. You do get some condensation build up on the inside but doesn’t seem to bother the ants. Highly recommend this seller.

Terrible , got mouldy in a few days hard to see ants and hard to clean

i would like to start with pros of this nest firstly very spacious and lots of room for ants, good water circulation and very sturdy but the problem comes in with the water hole if you have to many ants in there you cant get to it without some going in or getting bitten, it also started to mould on the underside from the water being put in, if you are housing a small species of ant they can escape through gaps in the connecter for the nest and out world (this wont be a problem if your housing a species like harvester ants) overall good nest just needs a few tweaks for the part that they can escape from i have put masking tape around it so they cant get out and the water area i have attaches a pipe for easy access EDIT; do not buy this i was gone for 2 days and they died from the heat while in a shaded area for comparison my other small colony in direct sunlight was completely fine with 0 deaths terrible enclosure
