Description

SNES 90% MX Whey Isolate is a premium protein blend mega-dosed with whey isolate whey hydrolysate and soya isolate. Whey protein isolate has one of the highest rated Biological Values (BV) which is a value given to protein sources to measure how well theyre absorbed and used by the body. SNE 90% MX Whey Isolate is a fast effective and great-tasting way for you to build the muscle size and strength you desire when youre on the go. Our formula contains Optipep which offers high levels of di- and tri-peptides which are ideal for rapid delivery of essential peptides for recovery strength and building muscle. Optipep is a hydrolysed whey protein. Optipep is derived from grass and outdoor fed cattle. Optipep is hormone free as the use of growth hormones are banned in Ireland. The use of Optipep results in an increased insulin response. Higher insulin concentrations in the blood stimulate the uptake of certain amino acids into the muscle promoting muscle protein synthesis and decreasing breakdown by inhibiting amino acid oxidation. In addition like many whey proteins Optipep delivers high levels of essential branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) which reduce the breakdown of protein to protect muscle tissue. New research has highlighted the increased insulinotrophic effects of hydrolysed whey protein Optipep compared to native whey protein. The research carried out at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at the University of Limerick highlights the value of an increased insulin response in aiding recovery and reducing muscle injury post exercise.
