If it’s to sit on top of your desk then no. It’s big- big enough for 2 small children to fit inside and play. If it’s to make your desk into a grotto then that could work!

Can anyone advise how to attach the chimney on the house?

There are slots cut in the roof and flaps on the chimney that you slot into them. It’s not very secure though!
