Excellent Quality for a Compact Projector
The VISSPL Mini Projector delivers really impressive picture quality for its size. The 1080P resolution looks crisp, colors are vibrant, and the image stays clear even when you enlarge it. Setup only took a few minutes, and it connects easily to my phone and laptop. The built-in speaker is decent, but I prefer using a Bluetooth speaker for a fuller sound—it pairs without any issues. It’s lightweight enough to move around, and perfect for movie nights, outdoor use, or even presentations. For the price point, this projector is a fantastic value. Great quality, easy to use, and very portable

About what you'd expect from a $50 projector
Worth $50, but definitely could be better. The projector is fairly easy to use and set up, though the focus is never going to be quite right. Trying to adjust the keystone just makes everything on the lower or upper half blurry when its clear on the opposite. Even when I get most of it clear, at least one corner still has issues. The 1080p is questionable, though I have it zoomed in slightly due to a smaller display area, so that is probably contributing. The colors are decent, though the dark colors are pretty washed out. The fan is a bit loud, but I typically use headphones, and once sound is playing it's ignorable. No idea on the speakers because of this. The projection is also fairly bright, and is visible in a fairly well lit room, but is obviously better in the dark. The way the stand and ports are set up, it is a bit difficult to point it at the ceiling, so if that was your plan, I recommend something else.

Works great
I got a projector to use in my room instead of a tv. It's small enough you can easily move it around, especially when I rearrange my room every few months. The visuals are good and clear and it does work with a Roku or stick. Only thing is the sound, not as well rounded I guess. I plan on getting speakers anyway to help with projecting around the room better, but that's just a preference not a need for this thing. I really like my mini projector. ☺️

Excellent addition to classroom settings
The VISSPL Full HD 1080P Mini Projector is an excellent addition to classroom settings, offering a versatile and affordable solution for enhancing learning. Its compact size and portability make it easy to transport between classrooms, while the included tripod provides a stable setup for projection in different spaces. With its native 1080P resolution, this projector delivers sharp and vibrant visuals, which significantly enhances the clarity of educational videos, presentations, and multimedia content. The brightness is adequate for dimly lit classrooms, ensuring that students can clearly see the material being displayed. Its compatibility with Android, iOS, Windows, TV Sticks, HDMI, and USB means that teachers can easily connect various devices, making it convenient for displaying different types of content. The projector is especially useful for collaborative learning as it supports screen sharing from smartphones and tablets, making it an interactive tool for engaging students. However, in brightly lit classrooms, the projector’s visibility may be somewhat reduced, so it is ideal for use in darker environments. Overall, the VISSPL mini projector is a practical and budget-friendly tool for classrooms, enhancing visual learning and engagement with its easy setup, versatile compatibility, and high-quality display.

So so fun!!!
Awesome projector. We love it. There’s not a super crisp edge on what you’re projecting but it really doesn’t matter. We’ve set up a ladder to rest it on and have watched movies on the side of our garage! We attach a Roku stick to it and we’re able to use Bluetooth to send the sound to any speaker. Be very careful with the cord it plugs in with!!!! We lost the cord and tried desperately to replace it and it could not be found anywhere… not even a comparable one. It must be only made and able to be purchased out of the country. Luckily we found the cord we lost! The stand it comes with is very lightweight and really couldn’t support more then the to Roku stick so I would plan on getting a better set up. Absolutely worth it! My kiddos use it in their rooms in place of a tv.

UPDATE: MINI VERSION ONLY: It’s so-so for what it costs- but it could have been better
TL;DR: (Update:) After some time, this projector’s sound is okay, brightness gets better in the dark and after warming up, tripod is hard to use though. The customer support is excellent and will help you with your issues. Highly recommend investing in the non-mini version as its improvements are BIG. (Original:) Okay for the price point, came with a lot of accessories like cables and stand. Brightness is what you expect, big issue is significant blurring at the edges especially when keystoning. UPDATE: I wanted to add some comments without removing my original review (below) but I’ve had some extra time with this (mini version only, don’t mix with the higher end one) projector and have warmed up to it a little bit, and feel that the sound is good for what the mini costs. The brightness gets better if you let the light source warm up and works especially well in darkness so turn off your lights! The focus on this get better if you’re willing to adjust it so that it’s closer to perpendicular to the wall, but there’s still some fuzziness. Since my original review, the company has reached out and has communicated with me about my shortcomings with the mini version. Their communication was excellent, and will be happy to assist with your concerns. They sent over their higher end version NON-MINI version for me to consider, and I would say it is definitely the better investment in the budget projector space so go for that one if you can! The higher end one addresses pretty much all the issues I’ve had with the MINI. (more that usually goes in a separate review, but the gist is that the higher-end one is brighter, better focus (less fuzzy edges, more features (mirroring without dongles, much easier to use), comes with a cloth screen, all the usual accessories, and seems to have Android as it’s OS which is a plus in my book). For all the reasons in the parentheses, I would say that the worthwhile version is the non-MINI version. ORIGINAL: The product at the price point I got it was okay, and functioned, came packaged well with a good collection of basic accessories, runs at an okay sound level, however that’s all it really has. I’m not expecting much but the few things I found bothersome were with focus on the edges. If you use the projector from slight angles and try to adjust it with the built in adjusters to get the picture back to a rectangular form it makes one or the other edges fuzzy. Just a quick rundown of the other features that I’m neutral about since this is quite a budget projector: sound is just there, colors… not the best but it’s what you can get, connectivity is good, and brightness needs a fully dark room to appreciate.

Good except for keystone+focus in combination and brightness
Brand: VISSPL Model: V16 comes with: * remote (needs 2x AAA batteries) * mini tripod with ball head * HDMI cable (1meter+ length) * AV cable (3.5mm TRRS male to 3x RCA male) * power adapter (model MD48C-22002i8-U, input 100-240V 50-60Hz 1.5A, output 22.0V 2.18A 48W * built-in speaker(s) (not tested) Inputs: * HDMI, RCA ("AV"), USB For the price, this is a surprisingly good value. It works at a basic level. I bought it for displaying artwork from my phone. Also tried some video content, with mostly worked. Details below. While the product comes with a remote, all functionality I tested seems accessible using the buttons on the top as well. That's great -- if I ever lose the remote, the product is still usable! Kudos. The product was easy to set up and get working. Kudos. The keystone and focus both work OK individually, but not very well in combination. If I tried to display at an angle, the keystone could square the picture, but the focus would then be off at either the top of the picture or the bottom. If I angled the projector so it displayed straight ahead, without the need for keystone, focus then worked. This limits the usability of the projector. Deducting points from the review. Not very bright. You will want the room to be as dark as possible, or you won't be able to see any dark colors in the picture. Deducting points. It does not come with cables to connect a phone. But the product description doesn't say it would, and that would not be reasonable to expect, because there are a number of different connectors and cable requirements for different phones. No points deducted. Pro tip: if you want to connect a phone, tablet, laptop, or other device to this projector, first connect your device to a TV using an existing HDMI cable. That lets you validate that you have the correct adapters and cables before you even buy the projector, let alone troubleshoot it. The included remote requires 2x AAA batteries. They are not included. I think that's a little cheesy, but OK. No points deducted. No bluetooth or wireless functionality. But the product description doesn't say there would be. Why do some reviewers complain about this? No points deducted. I tried displaying Paramount+ content from my phone. It did not work. But the product description says that. No points deducted. Did not test audio input. Did not test speakers. Did not test AV input. Did not test USB input.
