Yes, the first listed ingredients is salt. I use it instead of salt in cooking and the 15.5% of dried vegetables adds lovely taste and flavour to the dish.I love it and use it daily.Watch out for prices. You should not pay anymore that £250 per 250 grams.

To be absolutely certain you will need to contact the seller. However, if the description of the item says 1kg, then this is what you should expect. Also, the price appears to indicate a large quantity. Normally, you shouldn't have to pay more than £5 for 250g packet. I'm sorry that's the best I can do.

Does it contain gluten

It’s got German and other language I can’t translate re ingredients list, scroll the pic’s 2nd image. I think there’s is but to be on the safe side, Google translate those ingredients. We’re not gluten intolerant so not bothered if there is.

Salty but nice

It is very salty so I have to use it sparingly but a very nice seasoning. I use it most days but a teaspoon at a time. I can’t think why I bought a kilo! It will last me forever.
