Great little portable projector
Ok, so if you are reading this then you are in the market for a mini projector. Well, to start with, build quality of this one is pretty impressive for a sub £200 projector. The set up is easy enough, it has Netflix already installed and eshare which allows you to play movies from your android device directly through the projector. I used the eshare app a couple of times to watch a movie from my tablet and it did drop out on one occasion, which was odd as I have got super fast fibre. That might just be a one off but it was a bit annoying. You can mirror your android tablet using mirror cast or airplay with an IOS device. The projector does have 32g internal storage but I haven't worked out how to add files to it as of yet. I've added movies to a mini usb stick and plugged it into one of the two usb ports, gone into the on screen menu, and it's played every movie faultlessly. You can either use the mouse touchpad on top of the projector or use the remote provided, both work well but the touchpad mouse is quite sensitive. Picture quality is pretty impressive and it will show a good image on the right screen, easily up to 150" on a widescreen projector screen. The speaker is quite weedy so it's best to add a bluetooth speaker which again is easy to connect. We use our Amazon Echo and it automatically connects every time the projector is turned on. I wouldn't use this as a presentation projector as the text is not perfect, but for watching movies it's spot on. The only downside so far is the battery run time, it says it should last up to 3 hours but if you get 2 hours out of it you will be doing ok. Overall it's worth the money, if you want better you will have to spend a lot more money. We've only had it about a week but have watched quite a few movies on it and the kids love it. One of the main reasons I bought this particular projector was to take with us in our campervan use in the awning, this fits the bill perfectly as it's up and running in minutes and there's no cables to trip over. Definitely worth the money.

For best results I wouldn`t use this in anything but a ...
I`ve given this 4 stars simply because of the technological content of the product. Android, Wi-Fi, apps etc. But truth be told the actual performance of this projector is a little disappointing. The vast majority of the time I use this for youtube. In standard out of the box form it is a little grainy and lacking in definition and sharpness at 2 metres projecting onto a 90 inch screen.. The lumin rating, if you know what you are talking about, is too low. For best results I wouldn`t use this in anything but a very dark room. I don`t explore the full range of it`s capability so if you buy one you may be a little more impressed with it if you do, as I say, the technology of this little box is amazing. I did a lot of review reading before purchasing the yuancin so I suspect this is about as good as it gets given the price range. So overall it`s worth the £200 you pay,

Absolutely brilliant
It's rare that I write reviews for things I buy, but I'm so impressed with this little device I felt the need to tell someone about it. In-short, it's compact, well built and the in-built mouse-pad feature is very convenient. I'm impressed with the brightness for such a small device (~80 ansi lumes, not the brightest on the market but actually brigher than I thought it would be) and the quality of the image is excellent. It's bascially an Android 7.1 tablet with a projector instead of a screen and comes with some Android apps pre-installed (although you can install whatever you like). It has the usual features of a tablet (eg. Bluetooth, WiFi) and has 32Gb of onboard storage too. Within minutes of openning the box, I had signed in to Netflix and downloaded a movie to the internal storage. I bought it to take camping and I'm sure it's going to be perfect for that (although I can't comment on the battery life as I haven't tested that yet). The auto-keystone feature works a treat, and it comes with two USB ports for input & storage devices and has an HDMI port too. My only criticism so far would be that the power button seems a bit sticky, but I'm sure that will free-up with use (it hasn't caused me any issues so far anyway). To be honest, I ordered this projector by accident. I had compared it to another device with (claiming to output 120 ansi lumes for a similar price, but lacking some of the other features), and thought I'd ordered the alternative. However, I'm so impressed with this device I've decided to keep it.

Does what it says on the tin (just)
Had the projector for over a day and been through most functions to form an opinion. I have a couple of other projectors, one that it top end, and another tiny sub £100 one that I just have in the bedroom for Netflix (which this one is replacing due to a fan problem). Overall I am pleased with the purchase based on the price in the Black Friday sale. It is compact and well built with a metal case. The touch sensor on the top is handy and works well but I doubt it's usefulness. Unless you have it clamped to a table/shelf it will move and I doubt that you would want to be holding the projector in your hand. Luckily it also comes with a remote. The downside of this is that it is hard to workout what is highlighted so gets frustrating very quickly. A big down point is that there is only a brightness control. This seems common with Android (although my high end projector has full picture controls) so there is no built in way to adjust the contrast or saturation. Even my old cheaper projector did that, but that was running proprietory software. The sharpness of the picture is great but the colour is oversaturated and the contrast makes the dark areas a little too dark and there is no real way of adjusting them. Even with the limited contrast ratio some tweaking of these settings would do wonders. The other issue is the picture is not quite square! Almost, but a fraction off. I can line one side up but even with the good keystone options I could not get a perfect rectangle as per my other projectors. Not that noticable and I'm probably being a little too picky. Screen size is great. Around 1.2:1 or around 120 inches at around 3 meters distance. Brightness is also good and in my opinion about 80 Ansi Lumens. It's perfect for a darkened room and watchable in a dimly lit room (actually a very dimly lit room seems better!). Don't expect perfection, the picture is good, but not great. The picture from HDMI is a tad blocky due to the resolution and sharpness (one time that sharpness goes against the rules). Using the Netflix app was better but the app doesn't seem as though it's from the Appstore and does not work correctly (hopefully fixed in a later firmware). Also Google Store which is included is very very slow at responding. Speaker is a little tinny and not loud, but fine for a bedroom. I usually use headphones or a bluetooth speaker from an Amazon Firestick so not really an issue for me. You can just hear the fan but it won't interfere with your viewing. Good points: Solid build Great portability Watchable picture Connectivity, Wifi, Bluetooth, mirroring, samba, etc Price Bad points: Bad controls with little highlighting on the screen when using the remote Lack of Contrast, Saturation and Sharpness controls Slow Operating System Power lead far to short It probably sounds like I've mentioned more bad points than good but overall I am pleased for the price. Can't be compared with a midrange 720+ projector but then you will pay well over twice the price. Android version could do with some serious tweaking for better use with the remote and some of the installed applications do not work well. The main thing is that streaming works great and also Amazon/Netflix through HDMI works well so I am quite happy. If you want something cheap for watching films, TV, series etc then it does the job. Gaming should also be fine although small text could be a little difficult to read. If you are expecting total perfection or want to view spreadsheets and documents, then you would need to look more at the £500+ market. Update after a week. There are a few issues that could have been addressed that drastically lower the usefulness of the projector. Bluetooth disconnects when switching to HDMI rendering Bluetooth speakers and headphones useless Android version is rooted according to a number of applications so forget programs like Sky Go Android version is heavily customised and missing a number of vital functions you would normally expect. Keystone is software based so doesn't work with HDMI making it pretty useless Android adjustments do not effect HDMI so contrast and colour is always terrible (but watchable) Spelling in the menus is terrible, and was obviously modified by someone where English was not their first language. Compatibility problems with a number of apps, including Google Video! Network connections default to anonymous and there is no way to save a username or password Remote does not operate a number of features, you will need a mouse Mouse options (along with loads of others) missing so expect loads of 'repeat' issues when clicking. An off option would be nice, preferably without the prompt as you can't turn the projector off if you use a mouse. Had to drop this to 2 stars as there is no excuse for the Android being rooted. The spelling, and the disabling of so many essential tools.

Product itself is very cool and does exactly what I bought it for
Product itself is very cool and does exactly what I bought it for. Pros: Easy to use Easy to set up Adding apps are good but All4 app does not work due to compatibility issues (i.e. on an old android version) Cons: Need to be using up to date android Could do with more RAM as streaming from mobile device can be laggy. Could do with a better tripod, maybe longer or more sturdy

Most of it is surprisingly good. But quality is inconsistent.
I was quite happy with that device at first, unfortunately, after a few days, the WiFi suddenly stopped working. However, the customer service has been in touch and seems very responsive and willing to solve that issue. As I like the product, and since the broken WiFi may just be down to bad luck, I'm putting 5 stars for now and will review again in a few days and update the rating if I still have issues once I receive the replacement item. As far as the projector itself is concerned, I really like it. The menus could be polished a little bit, but the brightness and picture quality are surprisingly good. It supports 1080p, but is natively only 480p, so small text on web pages is not very clear to read, but to watch movies and subtitles it's really good. Keystone correction works perfectly, even when projecting on the ceiling. The touchpad on the device is very handy to navigate the menus, and when wifi works, the Eshare app makes it possible to use your smartphone as a remote. Pretty neat. *Update* I returned the original item that had broken WiFi and was sent a replacement. WiFi is now working fine, however, the replacement item I received was not new (no plastic film on it and a few small scratches) and focus is not as good as on the previous item. It's not really noticeable when watching a movie, but when reading the menus it's impossible to get the text in focus everywhere. So I'm going to give it a 3 stars only. I like the product, but quality seems inconsistent so you have to rely too much on your luck to get something that works 100%.

Literally, I am stunned by this little amazingly versatile device...
... having owned a couple of 'full size' projectors, this baby excels over and above anything I've used before. Disappointingly there won't be an upgrade from the installed Android v4.4 to Android v6.0 (Marshmalllow) which ONLY negates the ability to install KODI Krypton (v17 onwards). But so far this is the ONLY downside to this pocket sized projector. Normal Android operation goes smoothly, but the ability, via the HDMI In port, to plug in an Android box (with KODI Krypton installed :-), an Amazon Fire TV stick, PS4 or XBox and use it on a 120 inch screen is breathtaking, because the sharpness of image HAS to be seen. The Miracast over WiFi ability allows the playing of games already installed on mobile and tablet so no need to reinstall... and any Android/PC device with KODI Krypton installed can be cast too!!! All in all an amazing little device that can be carried around in a pocket or bag. Love it !! Update: There is a way of installing KODI Krypton.. it starts with installing EBox Store in Playstore...

Great Value and Performance.
I bought this projector to help me out with customer presentations when travelling. I must admit, this is really an amazing little projector. It can be connected either via Bluetooth or HDMI cable. I used Bluetooth and it worked very well on PowerPoint and Excel. Another useful feature is the built-in battery. I ran a presentation for one hour just on battery. The model I bought has 32Gb built in to store apps or other files. For what I bought it, really cannot fault this product. If you want to project movies on a large wall, the unit performs very well even from a reasonable distance of 2-3 meters. As you can imagine, the closer you get to the wall the crispier the image gets. The built-in speaker is also useful for a quiet room setting. I tried it in this setup in my daughter’s bedroom and it worked exceptionally well. Because it runs Android, it comes installed with Netflix and you can download Amazon Video or other video app. From this perspective, this little unit is great. Saves having kids starring at a tablet screen.
