Would this be big enough for my grandma who is 6 foot?

Yes I am 5'10" and there is ample room left, you may find it tight if you have forward foot extensions on your chair.

Will this be big enough for my Mum who is a size 24?

I am also on the plus size but being only five feet in height it did not cover my feet it came to my ankles bit dissapointed

Is it tear resistant ?? Is it made from strong material??

Is this poncho shower proof or rain proof ?? i ask as the electrics on my wheelchair cannot get wet ??

First day of wearing this over the chair,the heavens opened. My mum was dry underneath it. She found it quite comfortable. It is a good weight and well made. I would say it would work for you. With your electric wheelchair. Hope this helps
